Hampton Inn Long Island/Islandia

"Convenient parking, food delivered directly to rooms. Rooms are decently sized! Black out curtains worked, bathroom was clean and simple, yet beautiful! Front desk (I believe Bobby - that was the name on my room card holder) employee was great! Very friendly, knowledgeable, and polite! The drinks and items you might need at the front desk were very reasonably priced! The breakfast was hot, normal breakfast options from a Hampton Inn (eggs, sausage, oatmeal, waffles, assorted pastries, coffee, tea, juices). The lobby was decorated for the holidays, and the pool was open! My only complaints are: I found a bottle cap under the fitted sheet? and check out was at 12, but room service pounded on my door three times before 11:30. I understand they were booked for NYE, so that doesn’t reflect in my rating. Would happily stay here again!"

"I've decided to have a family day and pick this hotel, and it was a nice and clean place. bonus Was the pool still available, which my boys and my brother had enjoyed ,also the breakdown, which was a cute touch. Quite,small 4 floor hotel .No service was really available, nor did I need it at the time. But I would go back."

"Used the app to book and choose the room. Asked for early checkin via app, no response for days. Response then came in with "no guarantee". Arrived at 2:40 pm. Asked if we could check in, we were told no, but, at 3:05 with a new front desk person a room (not the room I chose) was ready. Unfortunately we were moved to a new room the next night due to not having any water....Bobby told us he got us a "great room".....thinking maybe for the inconvenience we'd get an upgrade but no....same room type right next to the elevator and across the hall from the noisiest people ever....slamming doors, talking on the phone in the hallway. Beds and pillows were not comfy. Pillows were awful in fact! Rooms and property overall were clean Breakfast was fine....kinda boring...but fine. Eggs, omelets and some sort of meat protein, sausage or bacon was available along with waffles, oatmeal etc... Found out the hard way that they lock the doors coming into the hotel during breakfast hours to keep the homeless people out. I'd probably choose another hotel to stay at next time we are in the area. Didn't really feel like I was a Hilton Honors member at all."

"Great place to stay! Located right off the LIE. The facility was very clean and the room was excellent. Loved the large walk-in shower and the bed was very comfortable. Also, who doesn't like a continental breakfast with the "make-your-own-waffle" griddles. Will definitely book this place again."

"This Hotel is very centrally located easy in and out and plenty of parking. The staff was very friendly and always ready to help. Rooms are clean and very comfortable. The Pool was clean (my granddaughter loved it), the lobby was always clean and accommodating upon arrival, departure and especially during breakfasts. I would stay here again with no second thought."
