"January 16, 2024 the guy working was on the phone speaking with a nurse about his upcoming colonoscopy appointment. The employee didn't excuse himself or apologize to the guy in front of me whom the employee started to work with while on the phone. This employee had an EKG last year by the way. I waited 20 minutes while a line formed behind me and circled around the small waiting area. I walked out that day unwilling to listen to the last 10 minutes of his 30 minutes pre appointment nurse call. I was finally able to return to this location today January 24, 2024 and asked this same employee for his managers name. He proceeded to tell me this is a franchise and there is no one above him in this location. This Batavia location is a disgrace to customer service and this employee spends more time on his cell phone than he spends doing his actual job. If you can take your packages to any other UPS store location I seriously recommend going elsewhere. This employee is a disgrace to all customer service employees everywhere. I would love to speak with the franchise owner but apparently they don't exist. UPDATE! This is the email response sent to me after I sent the above message to the UPS complaint office. Hello You spoke with the franchise owner already twice. You are no longer welcome here and this is harassment at this point. We did nothing wrong. Would you rather this location being totally shut down? He is the only one here in the morning. Your Team at The UPS Store 8351 Lewiston Rd Ste 3 Batavia, NY 14020"

"I get nervous every time I go in this store, to the point I think I've gone for the last time. Unbelievably unfriendly and downright rude. Place is messy, dirty, and looks like a dump. The retail packing selection is empty. I don't know how they stay open. I used to work at a UPS Store many years ago and I'm not sure how any of this flies."

"The person behind the counter was incredibly rude to me. I walked in to pick up a package. The first thing he said to me was, "What makes you think I would have it?" Turns out he did, in fact, have it. This is the last time I will be using this UPS location for any service whatsoever."
