Sugar Pine Lodge

"Good location, but very close to the road, so plenty of traffic noise when door is open, and a bit dark inside. We had the efficiency apartment in front, which apparently had not been used for a while since a lot of things did not work including the overhead fan (needed battery for the controller/remote), the gas fireplace (pilot not on), the coffee maker, (the Keurig did work, but you have to buy/bring the pods), the wifi (we were given the correct network login after texting the person), the bathroom door did not close all the way, and the grill was filthy. We did call and the person in charge sent someone over to clean up the grill, and kindly lent us a bike to use. The jetted tub did work, however. We also appreciated the email with the many activity recommendations. Might be better for a big group since most of the place was taken up by a large party that had pool, and fire pit access, which we did not."

"We chose Sugar Pine Lodge for our immediate family gathering (14 adults + 3 kids) in July. The house is set up nicely for a larger group, with most bedrooms having their own private bathroom. The pool and garage game room were excellent. The kitchen was perfect for a large group and was stocked with appliances, cups/plates/utensils, pots/pans etc. The bedroom decor was a bit dated and we had an issue with hot water in the upstairs bedrooms, but the maintenance crew was very friendly and the owners promptly credited us for the inconvenience. One suggestion for improvement would be to provide extra non slip mats for the garage floors, which became quite slippery as people moved from the game room to the pool."

"We had a wonderful time staying at Sugar Pine Lodge! We had a large group and made use of all of the amenities. The pool and patio was big enough for us all to spread out. The game room had plenty activities to keep all of us entertained as an alternative. Having 2 sinks, dishwashers and stoves in the kitchen was a wonderful surprise! That really came in handy when cooking for 17 people! I would absolutely stay here again!"

"This place is Amazing! Very nice and clean with lots of fun things to do that are suited for all ages. Close walk into town. Highly recommend. The owner was also a very nice guy and a pleasure to deal with."

"Great place for family get together. Lots of room, private suites were very nice. Close to downtown, although out was raining when we were there. Kitchen is unbelievable!"
