"2023 January 4★ Great staff. Helpful and social. This place does have a clearance section which might offer you a good find. A good selection of products. Lots more downstairs which has bike gear and looks like bike repairs. Inside, you'll also find a coffee shop as there's shared space. Parking on side streets."

If your trying to find some world class western New York fishing, Nick is your guy. Ive caught several trophy fish due solely to Nicks instruction. There’s nobody out there who knows the waters more intimately than him. Regardless of species or weather conditions, Nick will surely put you on fish, teach you the ins and outs of the waterways, and share an all around great experience on the water with you. 10 out of 10"

"Overall amazing Shop, friendly, knowledgeable, dog friendly. What else could you ask for?!… Oooo wait INCREDIBLE COFFEE!!! My family always swings by the shop during family snowboarding and skiing trips. It’s one of the highlights to traveling to Holiday Valley/Ellicottville. I also traveled back in the fall for a fly fishing trip guided by Nick. Nick is a fantastic guide. He’s super passionate about the area he guides in and his knowledge on fishing is serious impressive! I would highly recommend checking out this shop."

"Highly knowledgeable, friendly, and knew all the ins and outs of Allegheny State Park. Sat down with me and my paper map and marked the best streams based on recent rainfall and picked out the best flies for the job. Items and gear in store are all the essentials you’d need; definitely not going to have everything in the catalogue. Nick loves to fish - not just for the classy trout, but for the underloved bass, pike, and carp. His passion is fishing and what he’s built really reflects that. Plus there’s good coffee."

"Very friendly and knowledgeable about their business. The gentleman at the counter knew everything about the products they offered and you can tell he was passionate about what he does. While we were in we noticed a few of the regulars come in and he greeted them by name and knew their order. It was very endearing.
