Wyndham Garden at Niagara Falls

"Stayed for a hockey tournament. The interior of the hotel is very nice and updated and the beds were comfortable. The restaurant was not open but they opened the bar both nights for us and had the Starbucks open both mornings. Staff were great. Location - what to say? It is by the casino and very close to Rainbow Bridge to Canada. Not a lot of ambiance in Niagara Falls NY."

"The room had peeling material. The sheets were yellowed, the air filtration/ thermostat was very loud. The elevator was outdated and slow. The pool was not lit well at all and relied on natural light which is limited during the winter and during heavy snow The staff was nice enough but did not go above and beyond. The location was awkward and did not have a lot of amenities without driving. Some vehicles in our group were broken into and the staff did not seem overly surprised or concerned. There was no restaurant or suitable eating other than Starbucks which was not always open. The staff there were really slow and did not align with a typical Starbucks experience. For the area in proximity to tourist attractions and a used hotel for many hockey tournaments, I would expect the building to be much better maintained or at least compensate with stellar customer experience to compensate."

"I would definitely not recommend this hotel unless its the only option. The room was okay but was kind of dirty and the windows were practically useless due to how dirty they were. The bathroom was nice for the most part but the shower was outdated and dirty. Not to mention there was a bug in my room. Having a pool at a hotel seems convenient and nice but it was extremely nasty. The amount of hair balls was insane. The total count was definitely in the double digits. The lobby was nice and modern and the staff were nice but the elevators were kind of small. Parking lot was also kind of small considering how big the hotel is. Overall not a good hotel."

"Not an awful hotel-but they do charge a parking fee and place a hold on your credit card for incidentals. The pictures are much prettier than the actual place. The pool was cold and the floor of it was crumbly. The floors in the hallways definitely need a good cleaning. The room was overall ok. The windows are not able to be open and there was droplets of water on them. The floors in the room were off some and definitely needed to be leveled. The beds are sort of uncomfortable but the pillows were great. The shower needed time to warm up so don't expect to jump in and get a hot shower right away. Overall not bad for the price for a room and the location was good."

"What can I say you get what you pay for... First impression the outside needs some updating. The area looks like a zombie apocalypse. Checking in to the hotel was fine. Our room was clean, the windows were filthy. They should take some time and clean them every season. Don't expect any grand views. You will not get them. Bathroom needs an update. Clean the rugs in the halls and room. So filthy. Pool needs an update as well. There is paint cracking in the pool and the walls. After 10 minutes I couldn't stand the smell in there I had to leave. The windows in the pool area are also really gross. The elevator had the smell of pot once in a while. They were nice enough to bring us extra towels. The beds are a little hard and my back was hurting but that was just preference. I don't think we would go back and we would try to stay at the Seneca hotel or go over to Canada."
