Comfort Suites Cicero - Syracuse North

"I was recently in a position where I needed relatively long term accommodation. I chose this hotel over one in Bremerton, because for only a few dollars more they had a pool and were closer to where I wanted to be. Well of course the pool was broken, but I was told by the front desk it was just repaired and the tech said it was fixed but not ready until tomorrow. 9 days later, tomorrow never came. After a few days, I tried to negotiate a rate for a longer stay. To say communication is lacking would be kind. The only consistent thing was the breakfast...until my last morning. No fruit. Hardly any meat. No coffee cups. It's a decent hotel, but it's held back by a lack of do better."

"We paid for two nights as we needed a place to stay to get ready for a family funeral. The room was okay the bathroom had a light out, leaving it extremely low lit when trying to get ready in the morning. Breakfast was supposed to be offered 8am through 10am. However, when my husband went down at 9:15 3/4 of the items were put away. He brought me scrambled eggs and coffee. The eggs were inedible, and the coffee was like dish water. He went to the local Dunkin donuts and got me a coffee so that I could make it through the day. We decided to stay at our family home that night and checked out early, realizing that we would not be eligible for a refund. The next day, we find two back to back charges on our bank account from Comfort Suites. My husband called to inquire about the charges only to find out that they were for checking out EARLY!! Are you kidding me? The room is paid for, and we are gone leaving you the opportunity to have someone else stay there. Coffee maker in the room didn't work. I probably wouldn't even touch on that if everything else was so subpar. Then to charge for leaving early!! Never again will we stay in any of your associated hotels. I also do not look forward to your pat "we are so sorry " lame responses. Save it!!"

"Room was great, amenities and breakfast were great, front desk attendant desire was excellent. Is this hotel haunted? My friend saw a white orb in the bathroom mirror, then we heard a woman humming in our room. Slept with the lights on. But overall nice hotel"

"I have 0 complaints! From booking online to friendly faces before checkout!!!! So i booked online same day! .. room wasn't too expensive either. . To speaking to Miss Penny and her comfirming that my reservation was complete .. to coming into a warm welcoming place and Miss Penny smiling .. the pool was why we were here today. And then Matt when my daughter was ready to lay down gave us 2 extra blankets.. sound a sleep my kids went. . I don't sleep well but at home.but did fall asleep....to wake up to a nice morning view and to smell the bfast (that came with the price) had me at Good Morning !!!! Woke the kids up and made our way down following the scent of syrup and bagels . Mmmhmmm food was good and so much... different things and really accommodated everyone needs and wants for food!!!! Then i find a lady at the desk i grew up with! Danielle and she was so pleasant to catch up with!!!! Really really enjoyed my stay..nice get-a-way from the city!!! Thanks Comfort Suits! We will be back!!!!!"

"My family and I were up all night on the second floor room 211. We kept seeing shadow figures in the mirrors. And my youngest child heard something coming from under the bed saying "go to sleep" and it was not me or my other child. And earlier while we were exploring the hotel. I smelt something in the stairwell by the lobby. It smelt like a corpse. My family and I believe that this hotel is haunted by entities. Some evil. Some good. Some neutral. But my family and I shall not be returning."
