"Dr. Lance Rubel is a very good doctor, compassionate and thorough during the check-up. I really admire his commitment to excellent patient care. The biggest downside is with the receptionist in charge of scheduling. She is very rude and unprofessional. It is difficult talking to her over the phone because she will just fire back with sarcastic answers. I hope they give this task to someone who is respectful and knows how to treat patients with empathy."

"Went in for an appointment for the first time and I give the receptionist my insurance card. She looks at it and says "Oh we don't take this insurance anymore". I told her on the website says he is part of my plan. She proceeds to tell me "this plan requires referrals". I told her it doesn't as my insurance card clearly states "NO Referral Required" and either way he was set as my PCP. She goes on to explain that "despite what your card says it really does require referrals and we are in the process of dropping that insurance." The woman who apparently is also the office manager was completely rude, obnoxious, and oblivious. For someone who is supposed to be a good doctor you sure have a horrible staff. Here's a tip: hire a staff that isn't incompetent."
