"Totally fuckiń useless. They'll schedule an initial appointment so they can get your information and bill medicaid and then they totally ignore you. Near one month of trying to contact them to get prescriptions filled of which they have all the information and nothing. You call and leave detailed messages, request a call back and nothing ever happens. You get transferred over and over again only to be hung up on or sent to voice mail again. They are a disgrace!"
"Essen Health Care is absolutely awful! There is a reason they only have one other review than my own. My Mom is a client who will not be after today. They sent a Podiatrist to clip my Mom's toe nails as she is a diabetic and bed bound. The man was in such a rush, very rough with my Mom and he cut her. She was bleeding and it became a mess. When I called Essen 7 times I was on hold for over 42 minutes each time no one ever answered. This was for over a period of 3 days of calling within their business hours. They can reach you but you can't reach them. That is absolutely unacceptable on every level. If you have any issue outside of an emergency with your loved one they will NEVER answer! How does any company do business like this? Since they get paid from the insurance quickly they obviously do NOT CARE AT ALL about the client. DO NOT put you loved one in their care. Prisoners get better treatment at Rikers Island! I am disgusted and disappointed in their terrible level of service. My next call is to my attorney! YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!"
