"I purchased mohawk carpet with a 25 year warranty. It kept pulling out from under the threshold and in less than four years the fibers started coming out of the carpet. After I complained to custom carpet they told mohawk my complaint was the carpet was matted and crushed. I never said that. They lied. Since I didn't have the carpet professionally cleaned the warranty was no good. I used our Bissell carpet cleaner on our carpet. I'm sure professionally cleaned or not no carpet should start loosing it's fibers in only four years. They wouldn't even honor the lifetime warranty on installation . They cut the carpet short that's why it keeps pulling out from under the threshold. I will contact mohawk myself and give them a chance to respond. AVOID custom carpet AT ALL COST."

"This review is being posted for my parents. They are in the process of building their dream retirement house and ordered flooring for the entire house. When it came time to install the living room carpet they did not have enough to do the whole room and left a 6 foot by 15 foot section uncarpeted. My parents were told it would be 2 weeks to get more in. It has now been 6 weeks and they still do not have carpet and no one at the store can give then any answers as to when it will be in. The manager even had the gall to tell my mom that they would have to pay for the extra piece. All the measurements were done by a store associate why should my parents pay for their mistake!?! Additionally all the tack strips were left exposed on the floor so they cant use this room at all because they are to worry about their dog getting hurt. They are unable to have their grandkids over due to the danger and weren't able to decorate for Christmas. It is absolutely appalling that this place would take advantage of an elder couple like this."
