"New store with nice LED lights, terrible service. Was buying some fish from the counter and they made me pay for it there. I asked why, they said they were a different company. Now normally I’m pretty careful where I buy fish from. The employees couldn’t tell me the name of the company they worked for… literally they had to go look at a T shirt swag thing to find the name of their employer? That’s sketch. I still bought the fish but never again. Secondly the cashier couldn’t care less. I ask them to divide the transaction 50/50. They won’t do the math and tell me to do the math. Then just push our groceries to the bagging area and begins checking out the next person as their groceries now intermix with ours. What is this? I could go across the street for the chain where you pay 25 cents for a cart for that kind of experience. Would expect more from a new store in a highly competitive area. I live 1/2 mile away but won’t be back."

"I definitely annoyed my wife taking these photos inside the new carle place western beef. Was it worth it? Probably not. But this store was worth visiting due to its low low prices. I remember there being a wb in flushing when I grew up. It went out of business. But my mom always said they had the freshest bread. I hope this place does too."

"By far, a step up in comparison to the West Hempstead, Elmont, and Mineola locations. The elevated lighting throughout the store draws the eye to notice almost immediately the newness of the store. But, something more stands out. If you shop in Westbury, New Hyde Park, Carle Place or Hicksville. This particular Western Beef location is a contender for your food shopping. But, without the high pricing shrinkage of product from well known competitors. Western Beef, Carle Place, has more of a variety and supply on view. I drive to Plainview to purchase fresh seafood. Great news, it's right here at Western Beef, Carle Place. So, these are my take aways on why I would personally shop again at this Western Beef location, Produce, Seafood, Cheese and Diary Depts., they are worth your time. What about the other sections? Poultry, mislabeled (see pics), not competitive. Meat, know your meats and the butcher for speciality cuts. Did I mention the Tomahawk steak, perfection. Middle aisle and frozen foods I found to be over priced. The sale items weren't a sale to me except the departments I mentioned earlier."

"Nice and cleaned new grocery store next to Big Lots. Parking is an issue on the weekends. Inside the store near the entrance is a coffee stand giving free espresso for customers. Very friendly staffs in the store and speaks good English. Excellent top level customer service. I asked one of them how to use the coffee machine and the employee was more than happy to make the cup for me. He didn't just give instructions and have me do it myself hoping I understood all the steps. The other location in Mineola, 2nd St, is heavy on Spanish and I can't communicate with the employees. Very difficult unless you're a native Hispanic person. The produce is fresh and good prices. The bread is very delicious and baked on premise. Different types of rolls 5 for $2.99."

"Shiny new store. It is HUGE! We stopped in to check out this new location. It was squeaky clean and well stocked. There are plenty of staff and open registers. It was a pleasure shopping here. Added bonus: pristine shopping carts! Unfortunately, this location does not stock all of the international products that are available at the 61 2nd St, Mineola, NY 11501 location"
