"Asked the cashier for a price check on April 18th 2023. Merchant realized the price tag was supposed to have been removed since the date was until 4/15. I explained that I would pay the price in the advertising as per NJ law. She refused called the manager the manager refused to help and accused me of speaking loud. I have no control over prosody if I speak loud that’s how I speak I explained. Now I’m also quoting the ADA - Americans with disabilities Act. I’m not happy. This is a lawsuit waiting to happen. I had a witness and will pursue this in court just FYI. Hiring a beautiful young lady who’s not capable of understanding basics of laws and has no empathy is costly."

"I’m very disappointed on yesterday visit at this dollar general store, my husband was yelled by the MANAGER because he was on his way of a shopping cart. Once we checked out, my husband faced the manager and asked next time if you want me to move ask please. Instead of the manager apologizing she got furious and say she doesn’t have to. She can say whatever she wants and cursed in front of my 9 yr old. No respect and very unprofessional. I even ask for the employee name and the cashier told me she was the manager, very very disappointed. No customers should be treated like this!"

"If I could put zero stars, I most definitely would. It’s saddening. Google, please make this a feature. Experiences like this deserve it. I had an absolutely terrible experience in this store. I don’t think I will ever shop here again - even though I live less than 5 minutes away walking. That’s how dissatisfied I was with this visit and what makes it even worse is that the store manager is the one who acted inappropriately and unprofessionally. As someone who works in customer service, I am aware that the customer is always right. She didn’t seem to get the memo. I truly don’t comprehend how a store is expected to run successfully if it’s general manager acts so vehemently. As a manager myself, this is truly disappointing."
