"I would normally go to Fine Fare Supermarket. Both are close to where I live. Fine Fare Supermarket has been the one I have went to for years. But my roommate & I would always complain that they would have items we buy often but then wouldn't re-order those items for a long time. We stopped in Associated & they had every one of those items. Plus we noticed that it was very clean & the staff was very helpful and pleasant. We are going to switch which is hard to get used to something new. But they're just so much better."
"The supermarket is freshly stocked with items and is clean. My problem is with some of the workers and on this visit Eduardo. I should not have to speak Spanish or understand it to get good customer service from the cashiers. I went in to pick up a couple of things. I had two items when I got on Eduardo’s line. My bag of shrimp (pictured for $7.99) rung up $8.99. I told Eduardo & he looked in the circular, showing me $8.99. I grab the shrimp & went to take a picture of the price. When I got back to Eduardo I went to show him the price when he just became disrespectful, shaking his head and saying wait in Spanish. I said I’m next and I know I have to wait. Still shaking his head & speaking in Spanish, I said why are you being rude & asked for the manager. It took upfront manager and two other people (speaking Spanish) checking the circular before looking at my photo and honoring the $7.99 price. Good customer service should be given to all, not just those that speak your language."
