"Our daughter has shown such great strides since we recently started ABA therapy. We are very pleased with everyone that works with her and especially Logan. Abby is so happy and comfortable with her that she is thriving. We are excited to see what the future holds for her."
"I worked for this company for about a year and just left a few weeks ago. I can confidently say that it was a beautiful place to work when I first started. But within the year, management and staff started shuffling in and out. The company likes to put up this façade that they have everything altogether when in reality they’re constantly looking for new people instead of giving hours to people that already work there, making it a lot harder to find the right behavior technicians for kiddos. Which leads to the kids not making any progress bc they don’t have consistent staffing that they can get to know and trust. The management and higher ups that work here, also have a habit of doing and saying whatever they can to make sure the company never looks like they’re the ones at fault to the parents. Trust me when I say that they’ll throw you under the bus to the parents if it means that the management team doesn’t have to take responsibility. It was not like this when I first started working here. Once they hired a new center manager Melissa, who I found out, didn’t even have a background in autism, the company went downhill so fast. You could tell she just couldn’t handle everything that came with the job. Eventually they even gave someone else some of her responsibilities with scheduling, which I would think should be something she should be doing on her own no matter what. It was definitely discouraging to work at a place where you could tell the center manager was often times stressed about her tasks and jobs. Let me reiterate that again for you guys… A lot of the higher-ups that work here DO NOT have a background in special education or psychology according to a few BCBA’s that work there. I heard so many parents express their gratitude towards the technicians there. They often hire great people when it comes to the actual techs but I also heard a lot of parents expressed their frustration with the management team for lack of communication and even lying. One parent has told me that they’re just “waiting for Proud Moments to drop the ball.” As if she also can see what a mess the place had become. A woman who I had worked with there told me that she had to cancel a session with a kiddo and her higher up, Amanda (Mandy) lied to the parents and said that the technician only canceled because her dog died. When I heard this, I was absolutely floored. As a young woman trying to build a career for myself, I should’ve taken that as the first sign to leave. When I heard this, all I could think of was how the management team didn’t want to look any type of way to parents, so they lied to them about what the technician was going through and about something extremely serious, like a death, as if it was nothing. I could go on and on about why this isn’t a great workplace to settle down at. When I first started working for PM, I had planned on retiring there, but there’s literally new people being hired and leaving every week. After being too fed up with the gaslighting and lying coming from the center manager I put in my weeks notice, but she was too coward to even respond to my email. They give technicians iPads for this job and she didn’t even have the guts to email me and find a time that I can bring their IPad back! I should also mention that two people who’d worked there for years left within the same week or so as me. For what reasons I’m not sure, but neither of these people were planning on leaving. One had just gotten promoted. It’s just so apparent that the company is changing for the worse. personally recommend ABA therapy to all kiddos with autism but I don’t recommend this company to anyone looking for a serious job or organized work environment. Knowing the people that currently work there, I’m sure their response to this will include them trying to insist that half if not all of this isn’t true but that doesn’t mean a single thing to me because if I know that I can save just one persons time, mental, and emotional energy by telling them to pass on this company then that’s all I care about."
"Very responsive to my son’s needs. He’s had tremendous growth since starting this program. And with their encouragement and strategies, we have been able to get out and enjoy community events such as the annual Boxing Hall of Fame parade in our hometown."
"Great communication and true dedication to my son! We came to the center needing guidance and support with some challenging aggressive behaviors and they welcomed him to the center with full support and included family support (which sometimes is missed- but is necessary for consistency). So grateful for our time with Proud Moments ABA"
"We just love Proud Moments! We have been with them for 6-7 years. I was skeptical at first about trying ABA again after our first experience was terrible. But a friend of mine told me after explaining our experience that that wasn’t ABA. And to give Proud Moments a try. We did and haven’t looked back. We have had so many great people on our team to help us as parents on how to navigate this tiring and difficult journey of Autism. And my child is not the same kid anymore. He is much more independent, verbal, and overall a happy kid. Every new stage we encounter, I know they have my back. Their staff and customer service are highly trained and top notch. If you are a parent looking to help your child with ABA, I can’t recommend Proud Moments highly enough. I always tell parents I come into contact with to trust the process, even when it doesn’t make sense. There is a method to the madness. We would not be where we are without them!"
