"Lodge on the north side is nice, playground on the south side is fine, but the trails in between are rough and are in need of maintenance."

"One of my favorites to bring my son too! Only reason I didn't rate it 5 stars is because the experience depends heavily on the people who are also at the park when you go. It can either be a phenomenal experience and fun..... or there can be groups of incredibly rude, loud and inconsiderate people who ruin the experience completely."

"Omg! I have been living 5 min away from this park for years and had no clue that it was such a big park and so challenging! It’s absolutely gorgeous park with intermediate to advanced hills. Really depends on your fitness levels and experience hiking. As mentioned by others, DO wear hiking boots. Or at least shoes with good gripping power. This park is well marked. For the big trails (white, orange and yellow), but there are a number of other trails that don’t have blazes. Can follow the trails using the map available on the Google listing. If anyone from the trail maintenance is reading this, please get someone to build a bridge for the big creek crossing. It’s quite a walk across when the water runs in the spring. Also, there is one “bridge” that needs to be fixed on the white trail. It appears to have erosion damage. Please add blazes for the other trails in the park to make it easier to figure out where you are on the map. One more thing, I couldn’t find the Wegmans Hit the Trails Passport post at the spot marked on the passport map. That needs to be fixed. Meanwhile, absolutely enjoy this hidden gem in our community!!!!"

"Very nice local park. Have a picnic then take a walk on the trails. Views of Irondequoit Bay are great. The trails are well marked and used. Take white to green for the bay views. If you have a map, you can make lots of fun loops throughout the park. Spend a few hours."

"Cool well marked trail from behind the playground all the way to the bay. You could go into the water at the end if you wanted, but not a lot of beach and no lifeguard or anything (duh). I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of sites on this short trail. I’d say 45-1 hour round trip maximum. Easy to mildly moderate at spots - I saw kids on the trail so it’s really not hard"
