"I used to take my children there many years ago until the office became too big. Office staff became rude and doctors started rushing and not diagnosing properly. I began to see quite a few warning signs and instances that occurred that made me realize this practice was no longer what it used to be. The following instance is just one I experienced. It was the one that was the final straw. The last time my daughter was sick and I went there was when I decided to never to go back again. I was standing waiting to check in for 15 minutes while a parent was shooting the breeze with the receptionist. Talking about everything from the weather to her child's preschool. When I finally said may I check in? I was told "Can't you see we're talking here"? To which I remained quite a while longer waiting to check in. When I finally saw the doctor I described the symptoms my daughter was having I asked if she could be tested for mono as it was going around her school. His reply was that they do nothing for Mono so why would I want to test? I said if it's Mono we'll know and take precautions and if not we'll need to find out what's wrong. Making sure to let me know he was very annoyed he did the test. It turned out positive. I could not understand why the doctor was so against doing the test and saying they do nothing. If a child has Mono they should have restricted activities. Right after my daughter was finally diagnosed with Mono a girl in her school was rushed to the hospital. Turned out she had Mono and no one knew. She was in gym class when her spleen ruptured. This is very dangerous and can even be fatal in some cases. This was a practice I had gone to for many years. The receptionist who was so rude to me that day had always been courteous in the past but had slowly been getting rude for no reason as time went on. I had always been polite and my children well behaved. I had decided to write a letter to explain how we used to be treated and how it had changed hoping perhaps they would care. I never received a response. In addition to being a good client I was one of those who stood by the doctor as he transitioned from a small office where the main doctor was accused of many accounts of child molestation. Many patients left the practice. We stood by this doctor because it was not him who did these things and the practice was being switched over to him. I decided this practice was no longer for us and found a new wonderful pediatrician. It was however very sad the way things went downhill and sad that I had to take my children away from the only practice they had ever known."
