"I absolutely love Dr Belkin. My girls have been seeing them since they were small. Their previous doctor had them on a lot of medication and Dr Belkin helped wean them off little at a time. He only gave them what they needed. He even treated my son who is also autistic. He cuts right to the Chase and lets me know what I need to be doing. Some people may get offended by that but I would rather have a doctor tell me facts instead not speaking to me at all. He remembers my kids and also still ask about my son who is grown. I am recommending my grandchildren to go see him because I drove almost 2 hours to find him and he is absolutely wonderful and I would not trade him for any other doctor when it comes to my kids and their health."

"Horrendous experience, if your child has a developmental disability see a pediatric neurologist, not this charlatan. Not only is he insensitive and sarcastic, he’s not qualified to treat; pervasive developmental disabilities, seizure disorders, autism etc."

"The best doctor's office of any kind I've been to. I've been seeing Dr. Belkin here for around five years, yet I noticed the staff knew me by name only after a couple visits. The staff are all very friendly and responsive. They are very quick and I'm almost never in the waiting room for more than a minute. Dr. Belkin knows his stuff! It's great to have a doctor that cares about his patients and will go out of his way to help ensure you're the best you can be."

"DONT BRING YOUR KIDS HERE... My family has been going here for over 20 years. My brother and sister still see the doctors here and I have a daughter now who has started going there. The receptionists are nasty and boarder line lazy. There is one younger receptionist who is a sweet heart but the rest of the old bats act as if they are being put off when you ask them to do something... like their job! Dr. Belkin is rarely there. And when he is, he is very impersonal and his demeanor comes off as intimidating to younger children. My daughter, age three, has had over three doctors since she started going there. There was a younger doctor that was great but we haven't seen her in a very long time. About a week ago my daughter developed a scary cough. I waited a day or so and when she got a fever and the cough worsened I took her to Croton Pediatrics. Her cough is not phlegmy, it sounds like a bark. The coughing fits are violent and she gags from the dryness accompanied by some vomiting. When I called the office they reluctantly managed to squeeze me in after my third phone call. Even after I described to them my fear and urgency for her to be seen that day. When we came to the office there was no one there, I was surprised because the receptionists said they were very busy and they were sure they couldnt fit me in. We were seen quickly.. The nurse was very sweet. The doctor we saw was nice and did well with my daughter. But due to the fact that they wanted me in and out, the exam was quick. They did no tests and her lymph nodes werent even checked. The doctor heard her cough and said it was bronchitis. After getting home later I researched what a bronchitis cough sounds like and it is not a dry cough. Her cough resembles croup which can be more dangerous. She prescribed a very short duration of an antibiotic. When I asked her what the medicine tasted like she didnt know. I then asked what the color was, drawing from my own experiance that the pink medicine tastes like bubble gum, she didnt know the answer to that either. I told her that my daughter was very picky when it came to medicine and if she knew any tricks. Her reply was she has to take her medicine. I gave her the medicine tonight and she puked it up twice. I have to go back and get another dose tomorrow, and then I am leaving. My daughter is wheezing with a fever and a violent cough. I shouldnt have to go back to the doctors twice with a sick kid with the added annoyance of arguing with the un-cooperative receptionists because everyone is either too lazy or detached to do their job. DONT BRING YOUR KIDS HERE, it is not a family environment. Other than the one friendly receptionist and the sweet nurse everyone else has their heads shoved up their butts."
