"It seems it has taken me quite some time to really get around to expressing my opinion on this subject…Breast Cancer. I was diagnosed in March of 2021. Pluta’s Team helped me, as they have for thousands of people pull through this together! It required me to undergo two surgeries (lumpectomy/lump mastectomy), one May 4th, second June 15th, 2021. Radiation treatment for almost 7 weeks, chemotherapy treatment medication for almost two years. I tried anastrozole, Letrozole, exemestane and ended up with tamoxifen in the end. I underwent genetic testing, first woman and hopefully I will be the last one to have ever been diagnosed with breast cancer in my family and lifetime. Pluta has such extraordinary people who have the ability to help us through our struggles! My amazing Team of doctors and nurses are always looking out for each and everyone of us! Even the receptionist in this facility! My surgeon was Dr. Kristin Skinner, radiologist Dr. Marilyn Ling, and my oncologist Dr. Dhakal! I reassure you that any one who is battling against any form or type of cancer this facility is absolutely capable, willing, skilled, strongly committed, supportive and loving to take care of you and your loved ones pull through this challenging process! I’m beginning to feel more like my old self now that I’m no longer taking the medication…still have follow ups with my nurses and occasionally Dr. Dhakal! (For the next four years!) Thinking Positive Thoughts! We/you can get through this! Anything is possible! One day at a time! ❤️Thank you Pluta Cancer Center!!❤️"
