"We went for couple's massage for the first time at rising earth. Matthew was my massage therapist. There was clear communication initially about what the problem areas were which was much appreciated. The massage however was subpar with the technique and the area focus that was discussed. I have had massages plenty of times before but this did not even come close to the relaxation I usually feel after. I also want to point out that we went for a massage mid-December, and the room we were in was very cold because of the cool draft coming in owing to it being an old building. It was chilly to the point that it was difficult to relax. Despite of pointing out 3 times, Matthew or his colleague did not do anything to make it comfortable for me. Not to mention the cost which is too much for this quality of service. I would not recommend this place. Edit: After this review was noticed by Ty, she was very kind to give me a call and we discussed what went wrong and how it can be fixed for future purposes. She immensely cares about her business, and promised me a better service next time I book with her and also refunded me for part of the couples massage. I stand for supporting local businesses and will be sure to go in again with an open mind."
