"this is the worst school and honestly it needs to be shut down. my special ed cousin was thrown INTO lockers by these student’s!! if there was a zero stars option id definitely be clicking that option but there isnt. the food they serve is not EDIBLE"
"If I can give zero stars I would. This school claim they are good but they had a teacher Mr. Y. Williams who teaches social studies there hit my son. After I called police on them they lied and said my son hit them and if I press charges they would arrest him. Overall my son is a good student and when he needed help for things no help was giving and the assistant principal Mr. Israel has a nasty mouth. I tried speaking to him as a parent and he kept telling me when he speaking I should listen like I am a child. Overall I took my son out this school and he is doing much better. Emotionally he was going thru it being there."
"The programs are excellent. The staff is excellent and are ready, willing and able. A great place to start a career in the technology industry."
"As a student who has completed 4 years of high school in 3 that goes to Ptech and who suppose to be scheduled for all COLLEGE classes starting in school year of 2015-16 Ptech does seem like a trap at first but once you get the school requirements in order to be put in college classes you are fine it take you awhile to get the hang of it. The requirement is a 80 on any math regents and a 75 on english. In order for you to get the 80 and 75 mark you MUST study what alot of Ptech students lack. As a student I realized the hardest part of the regent is the written part epically math. I highly recommend that your child study that part of the regent. As for students who entered high school after 2012 It is a little different because the state is doing common core but still study the written part the most that were the most points are accumulated. I will recommend this school to parents who want there child to learn how to over come tough situations. Alot of us came in accelerated but might only have an 80 on algebra or 75 on english not both. It might seem as if some of us slowed down due to the fact of students who lack study skills and have to repeat the same class 7 times before they reach the benchmark. But for students who fall atleast 2% behind the mark the school puts them in a college readiness program for math you must have atleast one trig credit. One of the major parts of the school anyone might like is when you are in your third year if you have successfully completed some college classes you will be placed in an internship with partnered company IBM which takes your summer away but atleast you get a pay check."
