"Went to see Cindy, she was the first therapist I went to see ever. In her defense I have alot on my plate and alot to unpack in sessions but she only focused in on one thing ever, my ex and gave me horrible advice. Told me I should just let whatever he does happen so I can at least see my kids(fighting through covid custody court). She wouldn't try to help or talk through a situation,"just how that makes me feel" and I had to remind her about things I've talked about before all the time. Went for months, about 7 or 8 sessions, she never tried to reach out if I canceled or when I just didn't showing up anymore. Told her I felt like no one cared and she added to it even more. Completely crushed me even more and I am still trying to recover and trust a therapist again. I would not advise anyone who has very serious issues to go here."
