"The Social Worker Paul is absolutely horrible. He will call the family members names. He refuses to set up support staffing. Saying it's not his job !! Watch out Private Insurance. They will ""Try" to scam you out of your savings if you're not paying attention. The best part is the minute your love one leaves the bed. Their hands are washed. That's even if they washed them in the 1st place. The care is at below a minimal. If I could give this place -10 stars. It would get it. DON'T SEND YOUR LOVE ONE HERE !!! NEVER EVER !! This is all less than a 30 day stay for a loved one !!"

"I rate this place a ZERO. A family members recent experience at the Carthage Center resulted in a hazardous discharge due to negligence and ignorance. The professionalism is close to none when dealing with family members that are looking for aid and help in their loved ones that are in their care. Mentioning names….director of social work Paul is THE prime example of how one should not act when dealing with families. Raising his voice and being straight up disrespectful. I will never recommend this so called nursing home to anyone."

My mother's recent experience at the Carthage Center resulted in a hazardous discharge, leading to her immediate hospitalization, just two hours later due to their gross negligence. The care provided was shockingly subpar, which is particularly distressing for someone in the healthcare profession like myself. Paul Nicol, the Director of Social Work, demonstrated egregious unprofessionalism by raising his voice and displaying blatant disrespect to me and my family. I adamantly advise against selecting this facility for anyone's care, as it stands out as my most unsatisfactory healthcare experience."

"I wish I could give no stars. This is by far the worst decision I have ever made for not only my husband, but my entire families history. The nursing staff come to find out were not properly staffed, licensed, and this fell on the care of my husband and I’m sure other residents. All I heard every visit was how much the nursing staff disliked their jobs, not all of them but most. Some were great, but the ones who were not really made it rough. Like smoking right outside windows of residents - that’s great. Not just once did he fall due to trying to get to the bathroom after waiting over 30 minutes for assistance. Medications were given 5-6 hours after the time they are due. I addressed this with the administration and she acted like it was ok. The social worker and head of nursing don’t call back, and my husband missed his second covid vaccine after I called 6 times - I gave them 2 weeks to do so within that window of extra days. If you look and see 5 star reviews for this facility they are members who work there, individuals who are working for other rehabs, or nurses who clearly are being told to do so. Don’t send your loved one here. I went to who I needed to legally yes. As I’m sure do many as they probably never needed to. This place should not be open, and I’m truly terrified for the other individuals in the building there."
