"I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Linder. After having some unknown medical issues for years my trust in doctors was non-existent, but he changed that around. It’s great to not only have a doctor who clearly knows what he is doing but who also validates my feelings. I don’t know that I have EVER had a doctor validate my experience and that has made all the difference. If you want a doctor who will be real, who you can trust, and who will make an effort to get you the answers and information you need then he is the doctor for you."

"A great doctor and even though he’s not a therapist, he brings much clarity and can tell you how you feel without you saying or describing vulvadynia. He is super skilled. My baby is 10mnths old and my recovery and aftermath was a nightmare but Once I became a patient with Dr Linder, I have had some better days. Of course still have pain but there’s methods and medicines that he spoke about that do provide pain relief and other methods yet tried. This is the guy to go to!"

"Dr. Linder is one of the most down to earth individuals I've ever met. I made an appointment with him due to the possibility that he will deliver my daughter, being impressed and comfortable are just a couple words about my expirence. He was very patient with a student that was observing for the day and took the time to make sure all my questions were answered. I also appreciated the fact that he asked my partner if they had any questions or concerns, I see another OB at that practice but will be changing! He was too cool!!"

"Dr Linder was the attending doctor when I gave birth. He came into my room (hours before my baby was born) to introduce himself and acknowledge that he knew I didnt want men involved in my care/birth. He agreed but stated in case of an emergency, he was the head doctor. After I pushed out my baby but before the umbilical cord was cut I noticed he was actually in the room. He was past my legs so he was a few feet past the pulled curtain. As a survivor or an assualt/trauma (which was noted in my medical notes) his presence caused me an insurmountable amount of distress. When someone reminded him that he shouldnt be there, he jokingly said "I barely went in". This was even more traumatic for me. He knew he wasnt suppose to be in the room and then joked about it when caught. The doctor who actually helped deliver my baby mentioned in my medical records that Dr linder was available throughout the delivery. Dr Linder then entered another note stating he was outside the room the entire time which was not true. Again, I saw him and other people saw him. He didn't even apologize to me. There was no joy in my birth. This experience makes me remember my assualt from years ago every time I look at my baby. I've contacted the hospital to have them investigate further. But that wont change what happened. I'm heartbroken. ***edit: Dr linder removed the first note from my records saying he wasnt in the room (amost a month later) then added a new note that he entered briefly to check on everyone. On 7/6 Dr Linder called me to apparently apologize but I was not able to finish one sentence. For almost 17 mins he spoke over me, raised his voice and berated me for not seeing how lucky I was to not have a dead baby. My life and my baby's life was never in danger. Just because other people have even worse outcome doesnt invalidate my trauma. He repeatedly told me that URMC is a teaching hospital. Apparently that means I'm not allow to refuse procedures. I was not provided enough information to make informed decisions about my care. I should have been informed that one of the doctors caring for me was a new 1st year resident that started 4 days earlier. But when I explained I felt badgered into procedures he told me it was my fault for refusing his care. That as a provider that has practiced for 15 years, he has a nicer approach. It is not my fault that I was treated poorly by the URMC!!! NO ONE , ESPECIALLY A PERSON GIVING BIRTH, SHOULD BE FORCED INTO MEDICAL PROCEDURES. ESPECIALLY FOR THE SAKE OF TEACHING. If he really wanted to apologize he should of listened to why I was traumatized, said he was sorry and promised to do better."

"i can not say great enough things about dr. linder. i have never felt more comfortable at a doctors appointment than his, for an appointment that should be the most uncomfortable. he always makes my concerns heard, and explains things in ways that people without medical degrees can understand. he always shows you what he will be using and how, prior to using it, let’s you feel the tools and equipment with your hands so that you’re not scared or nervous. i highly recommend dr. linder to anyone looking for a great obgyn."
