Step Forward Martial Arts is a karate institution located at 1685 Monroe Avenue in Rochester, New York. We aim to bring the joy of karate training to students of all ages and abilities in the Brighton, Henrietta, and Pittsford areas. Our classes are small and inclusive, focusing on the traditional art of Issin-ryu Karate. We offer classes for Little Dragons (3-6 years old), Youth (6-12 years old), and Teen/Adults (13 ), as well as one-on-one classes for those who prefer a more private experience. We also specialize in working with students with special needs, including Autism, Aspergers, Tourets, and Down Syndrome. Our goal is to optimize the mental, emotional, and physical benefits of karate training for all our students.
