"My children were going here for a few years, but I could not take the disrespect from Barry, the owner. His communication with parents is very disrespectful and condescending. Having children in competition is expensive, but Barry acts as if his company is not getting paid for their services and that we are not his customers. Parents are intimidated and allow this behavior. He is quick to cut a child from team if you challenge him in a way he doesn’t agree with. He hasn’t liked me since we started coming because I made it clear in the beginning, I will not tolerate it. I think if I would’ve said something later on, my kids would’ve been cut. This man is abusive. There are other great gymnastics companies in the Rochester area. Unfortunately they have good coaches but they should also find another gym, especially if he’s as abusive as he is with parents and children."
