"This is a weird little hidden gem restaurant. You enter from what looks to be the back of a take-out place and walk through to a small dining area. Family-run with friendly staff but sometimes communications breaks down... we didn't have any knives at first. Grape leaves and pita was fresh and tasty. Falafels were very flavorful. My husband had the gyro on a salad. I was happy to close the meal with a slice of baklava and Turkish coffee. The owner was excited to provide us with "edible" sweet spoons made of cookie biscuit, and quite the novelty. The food was excellent, and the people quite lovely. Be warned though, access to the restrooms are narrow and not for the handicapped."

"I'm in town for work for the day and came here for lunch. I had a veggie kabob, falafel sandwich, baba ganuj and a mint tea. They didn't greet me when I walked in but after that they were the sweetest and friendliest folks ever! My server was able to make vegan recommendations and make changes to portions so that I could get multiple items but not so much food. The falafel is made from scratch and is fresh. Golden crispy in the tahini is amazing. When I had finished most of my food, they came around with fresh coffee for everyone! Exquisite and strong coffee but still so delicious! They even had strawberry cake they brought out for everyone but it wasn't vegan so I had to decline. :( I highly recommend anyone that's looking for a friendly delicious casual dining experience to visit."

"Wanted some Lebanese food while staying in Utica for the night. This place had good reviews so decided to give it a try. Construction going on outside and wasn’t even sure if it was open. When we walked in we thought ok maybe it’s just take out. But we were greeted with dine in or take out? We rounded the corner and there was s a dining room. Seems like a cute family place. Waitress was friendly and attentive. They had the usual items at a Lebanese restaurant. I really liked third pita. It was the thinner kind. It was kind of chilled and I wished it was just a little warmed. We ordered the appetizer sampler platter. You can choose 4 items. We got hummus, babaganoush, grape leaves and had to substitute a 4th item with falafel. Everything was delicious up to this point. My husband ordered Zeina platter with rice and salad and side of fries. I had the mixed chicken and beef gyro. The portions were large. Food was tasty. I had to take 1/2 the gyro to go after all the appetizers. I was completely satisfied with the meal and will definitely return. The gentleman that was behind the counter was very welcoming and friendly as well, striking up conversation. I was disappointed they must have run out of Baklava which is my favorite. Will have to try next time! Recommend to anyone with a healthy appetite looking for something in the area other than chain restaurants and typical American fair."

"Very homey and affordable. My fiance raved about the eggplant fries. When paired with the sauce it comes with its a homerun in your mouth. We both had the same gyro with chicken and beef. NOW my favorite thing were the Minnie minced garlic fries! The fries with a soda and some ketchup if you chose. The hummus is a must have for the start of your sit down. And if you're lucky enough you'll get some Turkish coffee from the owner to wash it all down."
