"I’m thankful to this particular urgent care because my son is very sick and this was the only urgent care that took his insurance. They were immediately attentive to his needs from the receptionist to the nurse to the PA. I’m so glad he was diagnosed quickly and given the medication he needed to recover."

"I went in feeling absolutely awful. It has been a tough week and I was greeted by Francesca at reception. She was very accommodating and kind. She went above and beyond to provide great service. I was then seen by Michelyn and received quick and thorough care. She helped me to figure out what was wrong and provided me with great directions to get better. The service from Francesca and Michelyn was stellar and should I need to visit an urgent care facility in the future , I will visit this one! Thank you Francesca and Michelyn for everything you did today, it was very appreciated!"

"Kind, patient and knowledgeable, signing in and seeing someone was quick and easy. They offered additional testing to see if I had issues with something else rather than what I tested negative for at their site."

"I went to this urgent care with 4 sick kids. 1 toddler that was very visibly sick and having a hard time breathing and a teenager that had a possible blood clot. I had heard the woman at the desk tell the man in front of me if he didn’t have the money to pay his deductible he would get a bill and it would be ok, they didn’t collect payment until after services anyways. I filled out all the forms and after waiting 40 mins was called up to the desk and told that 2 out of 4 of the kids insurances weren’t coming up. (Which is odd since we are all on the same plan). I asked if she could put the two as self pay and I would call the insurance and find out what’s going on and give them the information as soon as I fixed the issue. She stated that they would not be able to see my youngest or my oldest because of this unless I paid in full, up front before the visit. When I asked if I could be billed, she said that’s not the policy all co- pays and deductibles and self pay are due before the visit. Which was not the case for the patient in front of me. I had to leave and take all the kids to the emergency room instead. My teenage daughter was admitted for pulmonary embolism and my youngest was diagnosed with RSV with very low oxygen levels. Required breathing treatments as well. Had in it gone to the emergency room and went home like i was told to do, and come back after the insurance was fixed, something terrible could have happened to both of my children. Never have I been turned away from an urgent care because of insurance issues before nor have I heard of the rules changing from one patient to the next. Very disappointed with this urgent care and thankful I didn’t just go home and wait to have my children seen."

"Not kind. Not caring. Not compassionate. Not helpful. Not professional. Not any of the things people, by shear nature, in this field usually are. I’ve been to Emurgent care in Glenmont, and in Coxsackie. Those locations are all of that and more. However I just moved, so went to the Guilderland location. Never again. Went in with a cut to my finger. And something sticking out of it. I was sick to my stomach and light headed. No offer to “go sit and we”ll bring the paperwork to you”. Nope. It’s get up and come to desk, at least 3 times. Then after over a year, I find out there is a balance on my account, of which I have not received a bill for. They won’t see me until todays co-pay AND the balance are paid. Still while STANDING at the desk, for the third time, I asked if I passed out, would they step over me on their way home (since it was now a half hour before closing time). The balance sounds like a mistake since I’ve never received a bill but I pay it, just so I’ll be seen. Now we both have “attitudes”. Which is fine, just didn’t think it would hinder actual care. I was the only car in the lot. The only person in a seat. Took quite a while to even been seen for triage. Sat in the waiting room, while the desk area played their music loudly and impatiently wiped the area, since I had bled while standing at the desk 3 times. Clean it, yeah, but impatiently annoyed? Really? Am I ruining your evening? You’re in the urgent health care field. Coughing, sneezing, snotting, bleeding, crying, all part of it. Isn’t it? At this point now the PA put me back in the waiting are to fill out 8 more pages of paperwork. 2 pages in, my phone dies, and again I’m told they “won’t see me” if it’s not complete. All I wanted was to be seen. Or at least put in a quieter room where I could lay down and raise my feet. I would have happily continued with whatever paperwork was necessary. I left."
