"I really think Tracy is outstanding, but, unfortunately, Narins - not so much. Extremely inconsistent therapists. One was on such a power trip, I actually had to ask my nutritionist, who is an advisor to the program, if the purpose was to tear someone down simply to try to build them back up? I literally was trembling with reaction after one encounter. I quit after a day because I had horrific nightmares about returning the next day. I simply could not go back. (Of course, the “problem” was dismissed as me.) But just be aware and trust your instincts! Maybe it works for some??"

"Tracy and the entire team at Narin’s EDC are phenomenal. I noticed two poor reviews and had to make one of my own. The environment itself is very cozy and comfortable. I do struggle with arfid (among other EDs) and they are considerate and supportive of growth in this area. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful. Any concern or discrepancy I have had was respectfully addressed. I’ve found that those who may disagree did not communicate and expected staff to just know what is on their mind. Many opportunities are given to share how we are feeling or things we wish to address both as a group and individually. But wait…. They have a therapy doggy, Joy, whose name fits perfectly! If you or someone you know is struggling with an ED , don’t wait to call here- this center is filled with compassionate and skilled professionals whom prioritize recovery at the appropriate level of care for each individual. I cannot say enough good things about them!"

"A place to go with hope and to get shoved out at your lowest. Bullied and no concern shown by therapist. Communication amongst the workers was all over the place. So needs were not met due to misunderstanding. Trying to fight for my recovery lead me down one of the worst path’s of my life. So if you have trauma, a death in your family from your biggest abuser leading to your eating disorder be strong for yourself. Do not seek this place out. It’s been almost a year and I still cry about the failed attempts at getting help and the sacrifices I have made to try and make it happen."

"If you have ARFID don't bother calling. They turned me away. An eating disorder facilty that doesn't treat all eating disorders? Especially when there is zero help for ARFID sufferers in our area. It's a shame."

"I never ever post reviews but this needs to be said to warn others. I came here with eating disorder tendencies related to emetophobia. I could only last three weeks in PHP (partial hospitalization). I got to see my individual therapist once for about five minutes a day if that. Some days wouldn’t see her at all. She wasn’t helpful. Personal problems were never addressed. The main focus was group therapy which was just us sitting in a circle with no one actually talking and giving support. The last straw was when they let go of an employee midday, but we were informed right before snack that he “went home sick”. Being emetophobic, this was a huge trigger for me considering I ate food he had prepared just hours before. I had a massive panic attack. For the other girls it was fine, they just passed it off. They have a system called “red light”’which is said when a conversation can be too triggering for others regarding calories, weight, numbers, etc.-which is good practice. But why say that about a fired employee in front of everyone knowing full well it would trigger one of your patients? Why wasn’t that red lighted? They could’ve used plenty of other non-triggering excuses or just told the truth. It was like my triggers were completely disregarded. When the doctor asked me about what happened that day, I got called selfish and self centered because I only cared about my wellbeing (worrying I would get sick from him) and not about the wellbeing of the “supposedly sick” but actually fired employee. I still think about it everyday, that my disease is making me selfish and self centered. I’ve come to believe it now I guess. This place is just unprofessional. I left feeling even worse and completely disregarded, just another patient getting rushed through the “motions” of recovery. I’m now at my lowest weight ever. In my opinion it was a waste of money, time, and mental energy."
