Planned Parenthood - The Bronx Center

"I’ve been to the Bronx location 3 times and my experience was amazing. The doctors, nurses, assistants, technicians, front desk, and everybody else that helped me were amazing. The security guard on the 3rd floor is so nice too!!!. I had to go 3 times to attempt to get my IUD inserted. My uterus was not happy with it and that’s why I had to go so many times. Everytime I went the providers were very nice and patient with me. The last time I went (3rd time) they scheduled me to insert it using ultrasound as guidance and put me under local anesthesia (It was really painful the first 2 times). It was the best thing ever. This place is really empowering women and helping them through pain. I’m so thankful for the service they provided and I’m so thankful for every staff member. I didn’t feel a thing and was so surprised when the doctors told me they inserted it. I called them my Angels and I really mean it. Thank you!!!!"

"Providers and nurses are professional and nice. However, the front desk dark skin guy was so rude to me. He yelled at me only because I wanted to get my kids at the front entrance l. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find someone to stay with my 2 month old baby and my 11 year old so they came with me to the appt. The provider showed me a different exit so when I got there I told the guy to let me in because my kids were upstairs, he refused and then he change his mind and follow me to the downstair waiting area. When I told him my kids were actually in the upstairs waiting area, he refused to let me get my kids !!!!! Instead he yelled at me across the hallway in front of other patients. It was so embarrassing that it made me cry. It was the worst experience ever !!. Luckily a nurse following upstairs to get my kids as the guy should have done."

"Horrible horrible experience this place is so unprofessional! the doctors, nurses and people who take care of your body are great however the girls at the front desk and who work in some other areas or this establishment are nasty, rude, and judgemental. My appointment was at 1:20 apparently but on the phone they originally told me 1:30 when scheduled. I showed up on time but still managed to be there from 1:30 until at 5 and didn’t see a doctor until 4:30 . The worst part , they tell you to bring an escort and all planned parenthood’s including New Rochelle allow a support person to accompany you but they won’t let any of these girls/patients partners come inside the room with them even for the ultrasound which I found to be ridiculous. Overall the neighborhood is disgusting there’s crack heads lurking everywhere and people shooting up on corners near delis while kids are getting out of school. DONT GO HERE ! USE EXTREME CAUTION .. Go to new Rochelle or white plains instead i highly recommend New Rochelle . I give this bronx location 0 stars"

"Very unprofessional came in at 9:20 on June 22,2023 to be greeted by a nice young lady at the door but then some VERY RUDE SPANISH MAN came out taking in Spanish which for one is very rude !!! Then he is like. Oh nobody can go back there they are in a meeting . I’m Like but this is my appointment time. Then he starts yelling like did you hear what I just said. I said they are in a meeting and nobody can go back there then he says. To the security. I don’t care who come up here with an attitude. Jumping or screaming. We are closed I would not ever recommend going here ! Go To the one in Brooklyn or Manhattan"
