"This review is for the pediatric office manager Camille and Dr. Babbar. They exemplify what Montefiore's mission and vision is about. My daughter came in the office desperately in need of care, and these two worked together to address her needs. Thank you not only as a parent, but as a human being..it's unfortunate that the other doctor on call and assigned to her (you know who you are dr. C) couldn't reach back and remember the oath of ethics that med students are supposed to take.." provide care to those in need"..message to you Dr. C..be a human being 1st..your day will not always go as planned but if you stick to caring you should feel fulfilled at the end of the day. "I came here for emergency reasons from another state. For a team that uses EPIC...transferring medical records is rather odd. The way to also not take down the proper information is odd for me coming from another hospital i use to work at. Inconsistency all arounds for diet restrictions and religious reasons are a hit or miss. I use to work at Penn and Chop in PA so maybe I am asking for too much but it seems like when I am the POC for a patient I should be informed. As the medical proxy I should have been informed of decisions for care in timely fashion."
"Whatever you do. DO NOT COME HERE AT ALL FOR YOUR MEDICAL CONCERNS. You can find better. This clinic is unprofessional, unorganized, and clearly needs ALOT of improvement. Let's start off first with their high caller wait times. On two separate occasions I had waited TWO hours to finally speak with a person at the front desk. Both times to schedule an appointment. The first time I gave up because I was busy and in a rush to take care of other priorities. The second time I had enough time in the day to wait on hold, and after waiting so long I was finally able get in contact with someone just to schedule an appointment. Which brings me to my second complaint, the lack of available appointments. After waiting over the phone to get an appointment, I was told there were no available appointments at this time by the receptionist. I called them early October to schedule an appointment in November. You mean to tell me they can't find any availability a month ahead of time? Ridiculous. I am now in the process of having my medical paperwork released, so I can switch to another primary care doctor at another clinic. However this is also an issue. I called the front desk again to get the paperwork, making this the third time I had to wait an excessive amount of time to reach customer service. I got the receptionist and she said that the paperwork would be emailed to me. That was over 7 DAYS AGO. I'm still in the process of getting that sorted out. If I can't get that done over the phone. Then, I will go in person to handle that issue. Overall, find another clinic. Preferably one that won't take up to 2 HRS to answer a call, and actually has good customer service. If I could give this place zero stars I would. The current rating of 1.9 out of 5 stars is too generous for this clinic."
"DON’T come to this clinic!! They’re the worst!!! Came here for the first time. My appointment was for 12pm with Dr Dunn and I arrived at 11:35am. Then they said doctor is running an hour late. Then I got up and went to reception desk to ask how many people are ahead of me. This old rude lady name Phillis or something, was very rude and unprofessional. She couldn’t even respond to my question, like she didn’t know about anything. She was ignoring me and looking at a paper while I was in her face waiting for her response. At 1pm they told me I had 2 patients ahead. I am highly disappointed!!! WASTE OF TIME!!!"
"This clinic is terrible. No one ever picks up the phone so it’s impossible to make an appointment. The wait time is extremely long if you walk-in(today I waited over 4 hours with no one addressing me or even taking my vitals). I told them I don’t feel well and I had not eaten anything since 8:30AM and that I felt dizzy, they just kept telling me I am next but no progress. One of the front desk staff said she didn’t realize I had been waiting so long, but I went and asked her coworker(right next to her) 3 times for the status. I finally saw the doctor at 4PM. I asked the nurse and doctor what happened? They said that I have no appointment and I responded that I understood but someone should of at least made me aware of the extreme wait time so I’d have the option of going somewhere else. They didn’t even apologize.The front desk blames the doctor and nurses and doctor blames the front desk. Appointments are scheduled months in advance. The front desk is polite to the patients but I don’t feel they communicate well with the nurses or doctors they work with. It seems like they don’t know what is going on. I will never go there again! I’ve never really liked their customer care but this is the last straw."
