"Glasses repair yesterday for the second time. They striped the screw holes out on the nose piece during the previous repair session, also scratched my left lens. This round 5 scratches in my right lens. As far as I am concerned the lenses are ruined. Never mentioned the damaged that was caused to the lens's either time. This was a drop off and repair nose piece fix. The glasses were inspected when I received them back. The damage was clear. I wear these daily and have had repairs done only their and they destroyed them. BEWARE Two weeks still no replacement.Update11/7/2022 made good on damage and ordered a replacement. Happy with end result"

I have been going there since I was a kid and I can sit and chat with them and they are very understanding with the amount of time I take to choose my glasses. The doctor is very friendly and answer all the questions I have for him."

"Do not be turned away by the other reviews like I almost was. I was going to Dr. Ihrig Fredonia and needed to switch due to their staff. Gowanda Eye Center has a great staff and amazing doctor. I was pleased with the setting and instruments they use to check your eyes. Little smaller glasses selection than i'm used to but to be expected in a small town."

"Went there for years and decided to check cost with other local centers after paying for contacts. Find the same contacts for $20 to $25 less at other centers. Ask for reduce price and then for refund. Told " No" both cases. Not being a special order item like eye glasses, hoping for something better than "No". It does not pay to shop local if you are over charged."
