"Went here for mental health treatment. One of the attending nurses told me "if your going to off yourself, don't make a mess". Then proceeded to call security on me when I told her that was rude. Staff are absolutely there just for the money and not to do their job"

"I went to St Mary's with two things, first was to get blood tests which came out wonderful and they did a really good job. The second one not so well. That's the reason for the two stars I gave it. They sent me around the back of the hospital to the walk-in clinic to have x-rays done on my feet. This was ordered by my doctor 2 weeks ago and I just gotten over there to have them done. I pulled the ticket off the wall as they suggest and I sat down there are only two other people in front of me. They called number 42 then number 43. I was 44. That number never got called, and walk-ins were taken care of immediately. I sat there for 40 minutes before I actually called RGH over on Alexander Street to take care of the x-rays. On my way out I dropped off the ticket with the receptionist who then wanted to start doing all the paperwork. I told her that was fine I stayed here long enough waiting for nothing and now I was going to another location they had the test done. My primary care physician is at St Mary's Campus. But other than blood work I will no longer go to St Mary's for any other tests. Now I see why they have such bad reviews online."

"They are smearing a good Saints name as this place does not reflect the spirit of St. Mary. Went in for help after a few weeks of not sleeping when my partner died. I needed real help not the young girl who had no life experience ask me questions to just say they have no one available and were not a counselor. No actual dr and no one to help? This place needs shut down. They are completely useless and in fact cause more harm than any good in Rochester. There is a problem with the medical system here especially the mental health. Seems to be a scam that NY just allows. I still need therapy, but had to stop looking due to the sheer feeling of hopelessness being overwhelming and the impossibility of getting help needed. This place made me feel completely hopeless and wasted my time needed in finding any actual help. Again. Needs shut down. People's lives aren't something to just play with."

"My sister and I visited my grandma today. While sitting in the room visiting we hear this patient screaming down the hall for help over and over and over again. We went to see what was wrong because clearly no one was attending to her or caring for her. This hospital needs to talk to the nursing staff that was working when this occurred on September 4 at 1:23 pm on floor 2- because this is complete neglect. So sad these people obtained their nursing license to give absolutely no standard of care to their patients. This place is full of neglect and ignorance. My sisters providing care while the nurses are sitting in the “relaxation room” on their phones, feet kicked up, lights off and blinds closed. Extremely unethical, unprofessional and again NEGLECT. Absolutely horrible."

"Other patients are by far more helpful than the staff. Forced to wear the same scrubs for three days, needed to ask for a change of socks. Complete lack of professionalism or any hint of empathy."
