"I really wanted to like it, but it just feels unsafe because there's nobody in the waiting area at all. It's just a computer you put your first name on and then a room with chairs. That's it. You wait until someone comes from the back. But there is a darkened film on the window for the door leading to the back too so for a moment it looked closed. I just do not like the way they did this location. It's not even that I don't like computer based stuff. I do everything computer based but I don't think it's asking too much to have a human interaction when it comes to health care and to have someone at check in for the event something happens health wise, or otherwise. It's not a great design and honestly the worst idea for a blood lab I've ever encountered. The back area isn't even open where they can hear if someone needs something or something is going on out there. It doesn't feel safe whatsoever. Especially for LGBTQ+ people. We live in a world filled with violence and you never know when someone is going to say or do something and there's no one to witness or to intervene when there's only a computer there. It's just a bad design overall."
