"I’m a caregiver for my senior family member. When he calls with a medical problem he is either given advice over the phone or seen very quickly. The girls in check-in are very good with him, he’s hearing impaired. Dr. Mendoza and his staff is wonderful! We are always greeted with a smile and kind words from everyone at Highland Family Medicine."

"Highland family medicine needs to put a holiday closing stating that they're closed on Marta. Luther king day do not have people get up. Thinking they're open and when you look at the website. It said open this is not right. This needs a change put a close holiday. Sticker on the door."

"Took about 2.5 hours to see a doctor during the walk-in hours when I arrived right at 805am and they start at 8am. But I received great service from the tech and doctor once I was actually seen. The doctor even called multiple times until I answered the phone the next day to follow up."

"Generally, the doctors I see here are kind. However, I have been with this practice going on about 4 years now. Tell me why every single time I come in for an appointment, which is annually considering I am healthy and do not need to see a doctor more than that, I have a different PCP. At this point I’ve had three or four doctors. I form relationships with the doctors and then the next time I go to make an appointment, boom, they’re no longer at this practice. Another thing, I understand this place has a large clientele base so there are many people they see on a day to day basis. But, I shouldn’t feel like I’m being rushed through my appointment, that I only have once a year….I went into the office with a couple concerns today and maybe half of them were addressed. I was told “I don’t have time to address that concern today. I suggest looking up some more information and come back with a medication you would like to take. Set up a follow up appointment with your PCP in four weeks.”Last time I checked, I didn’t go to medical school so I don’t think I’m entirely qualified to look up medications online and just “pick” one to take. Also during my annual exam, the doctor I was seeing asked me questions, but rather than allowing me time to answer she breathed and either answered them for me or moved on to a different subject. It is frustrating to call this place my PCP. I do not feel like they care about my health, only the money they get from the insurance companies from my visit. I am disappointed with this practice. I have thought about changing many times due to these experiences happening in the past. But because of life, it gets the short stick. I would not recommend this place to anyone."

"Went to walk in clinic today.8:00am got to see Dr about 10:15am. The doctor and nurse were awesome. Got my ear cleaned out, gross but thank you!!! 6 stars treatment. The only problem was a older pretentious couple bitching about the length of wait time and didn't get people with appointments got priority, wonder if they remembered why they were there?"
