"I am reviewing a trip I took here in Nov 2022. I was having symptoms after quitting hormonal birth control and asked for testing to be done to see if my hormone levels were off. My first problem is that the doctor who saw me here implied my symptoms months after stopping could not be related. She must not be aware that it can take a year for your body to balance after stopping the pill because you're asking it to do a job it has forgotten how to do. Second, she didn't want to do the hormone tests because she didn't believe they would be helpful. She was right, but failed to inform me they wouldn't be helpful because blood tests (why would any gyno practice only be able to do a blood test?) are not as detailed as urine/saliva hormone tests. After my results came in I was told by this practice I was fine hormonally...I later got a Dutch test and I was NOT fine. My concern is that the women here are prescribing birth control without actually knowing how it affects the body and how to help women when they want to come off it. Thankfully I found a more informed dr after this visit and we are treating my hormonal imbalances now. Had I not sought out subsequent care i wouldn't know my progesterone was too low, two testosterone metabolites too high, or that my 4 OH estrogen pathway is too high which can damage DNA and lead to cancer down the road. The 2 stars are for the promptness and kindness of the support staff."

"As my first experience with this location I was very pleased. The staff was professional, prompt, kind, and gentle. I had not been in for an annual exam is many years and was a little nervous. The staff and doctor were all wonderful and explained everything well. I will definitely be returning."

I felt listened to and was taken seriously for the first time in a while. My apt didn't feel rushed nor was there a long waiting time. I would generally prefer coming back here over seeing my pcp because of the medical attention and care I received. It's a good feeling to know these medical professionals are really on top of their jobs and can make a difference."
