"I went to my second appointment and didn't speak to the original provider once. I wasn't asked if I was okay with being treated by an intern. This intern treated the wrong arm, didn't believe me when I told him which wrist was the affected one. He didn't apply enough pressure to work out the knots in my muscles which was very uncomfortable because it was like a massage I didn't consent to. I think if the doctor brought the intern in, introduced him, and supervised him to start it would have been fine. He would have been there to help the intern with which arm was the correct one and with applying the right amount of pressure. Not the interns fault, he was very professional and this could have been a learning experience for him if we weren't thrown to the wolves like that. They wanted me to come in twice a week, and at $60 a session, but I had no idea if I was ever going to see the fully credentialed provider again because I was left in the dark, so I didn't go back."
