Dr Nicotra is the best, anytime I need advice and call the office I get a timely response from either a nurse or Dr Nicotra herself. "I would definitely not recommend Dr. Nicotra to any young women looking for a gynecologist. When I was having issues with my birth control, I called her multiple times for help and never received a call back. When I did receive a call back from the nurse, she let me know that they did not record the date when they switched my birth control to a new prescription, which I find extremely unprofessional and concerning. After that, I asked for the doctor to call me, which she never did. A couple weeks later I reached out again with a different medical issue. I was in excruciating pain and needed a prescription as soon as possible. I currently live in NYC and Dr. Nicotra refused to help write a prescription, even after I explained that the urgent care facilities near me had already closed. Overall, she is very dismissive and insensitive, especially to young women. I would strongly advise finding a different gyno. That all being said I want to add that the woman who works at the reception desk is always a pleasure to talk with. She is so helpful and I have always enjoyed my conversations with her."

"Dr. Nicotra is excellent, she recently performed a major surgery for me. Everything was flawless, she checked in after and was very responsive with any questions I had. She really listens and is extremely knowledgeable. Wait times in her office are minimal, and she dedicates the time needed to discuss your concerns. I am so glad I found her, and highly recommend her if you're looking to switch doctors."
