"If I could give this a place a zero star I would I'm a RN that knows the rules on how scripts can be filled, they always have excuses on why they can't fill mine when I need it filled & the negative attitude they give, I have a pharmacist friend that works with another rite aid & she said ea is notorious for that, there are some nice great workers but unfortunately there's more attitude ones than good ones my suggestion find a different local family owned pharmacy where you get your medications without attitude"

"It’s hard to write this review considering how nice this store is. I used to love coming here. However, my last two experiences were extremely negative. The staff and management is unnecessarily stingy - especially when it comes to (appropriately) using “any product” coupons they don’t personally agree with (even if the register takes it) or for using coupons for items on sale - which is allowed under Rite Aid’s coupon policy. The cashier decided AFTER my card was entered to start a problem and question the validity of the “hang tag” coupons that were for any brand product. She showed no interest in hearing me out. Vilifying customers trying to dispute an honest concern is unacceptable. I imagine this is probably a push from higher up to limit coupon use - even though manufacturer coupons are a form of payment and the store gets reimbursed for them. When I politely brought up these issues to the manager - he said the clearance items are expiring and they will either be sold at that discounted price (with no other coupons) or thrown out. So instead of getting $2 less than the discounted price, Rite Aid would rather get nothing and throw it out? Make it make sense, please. During this discussion with the manager, he arrogantly and apathetically said the East Aurora store does things differently than other local stores and that is why other Rite Aid stores are closing down and they aren’t. While my goal is to never get anyone in trouble, I found the response narrow-minded and unhelpful. Using coupons does not make a store close down. But you know what does? Bad customer service. Therefore I will not be returning. And seeing the other reviews, it looks like I’m not alone."

"Went to get two scripts today and called three times no answer. Get inside 7 people in front of me. Fine can get busy I get it. The reason I called I wanted to see if they were done. After waiting in line for 18 mins. I went to the cashier and she said the scripts hadn't been filled yet I said that's why I tried to call and an older lady cashier said well I'm here what do you want me to do? I said to answer your phone and say sorry busy please call back. But instead, ignore calls. Unprofessional and rude. staff talking about me while waiting for the script. Instead of reading the complaints and trying to justify your cashier's actions talk to her or fire her. She shouldn't be in customer service. Miserable older women get more staff and fix drive-through. On top of that had to wait 10 mins. Fire her. And they didn't have one of my scripts."

"The pharmacy technicians at this location are horrendous to try and work with. They are completely ill-mannered and downright aggressive and mean. I tried to go in and pick up my script and it wasn't ready or in their system yet. That's fine, it happens. But the way the older female pharmacy technician chose to go about the issue and treat me is insane. I simply told them I was switching pharmacies because this location seems to have constant supply/demand and customer service issues. She then took it personally and raised her voice at me aggressively saying it was "my doctor's fault and not hers". When in fact my doctor has no control over her crazy behavior, and that's what the real issue was. I simply told her "it's actually insane how this place treats their customers, that's the real issue", and left."

"Got my vaccine here, was a good place, but the staff has the balls to ask me to take my mask off when being carded and gets snippy with me when I get angry for having to do so. "You know I don't have to serve you" the cashier said when I uttered an exasperated "Jesus Christ" when asked to remove my mask. You don't have to serve me. And I don't have to shop here anymore."
