"I hate to leave this review because I’ve been a patient of Dr. Hendricks for around 20 years. He is ALWAYS late but I always put up with it because he is thorough and takes his time when you finally get to see him. I usually go in on my days off so it’s not that big of a deal. Today, I had to schedule before work for 8am. His first appointment of the day. A few days prior, I receive a telephone call from the office asking if I could come in at 8:30 instead. I said I couldn’t because I had to work. The lady says “ok, we’ll see you at 8”. I show up on time, check in and wait until 8:20 when a nurse comes out and tells me their software is down and I will need to reschedule. I said I drove in from Lockport and I’m already here. Can’t he just do my physical, write it up on paper and finish documenting when the issue is resolved? She says “No, he can’t do that and he’s not even here yet”. Excuse me, what? He’s not even here? My appointment was 20 minutes ago. You call me and ask to move to 8:30. I say no and you completely disregard what I say and do what you want anyway? Instead of apologizing the nurse gets loud and defensive and says “he’s pulling in the parking lot right now. I just came out here to show you some generosity”. What generosity are you showing me? If Hendricks was on time all of this would have been avoided. There’s no excuses. It was his first appointment of the day! It’s rude and unprofessional and a total disregard for my time. Based on the other reviews if I had walked in five minutes late I would have been turned away. Time to find a new doctor."

"Been a patient at Parkview Primary Care for years. Dr. Orville Hendricks is a very good doctor. Never rushes you, answers all your questions. Highly recommend !!"

"My husband and I were patients of Dr. Kavcic for a couple years. Our past annual visit in June (2023) made us decide to leave the practice. It has been quite some time since then and I feel like I’m ready to leave an appropriate review. Normally most of our visits were fine, but this time we felt that our concerns about our health were not taken seriously enough and we felt rushed out of our appointments. I had been having trouble with my weight (steadily gaining with no cause and difficulty losing it) and trying every type of diet and exercise, I asked him about doing blood work and shared concerns about possible thyroid issues because of a family history with thyroid cancer and was accused of trying to score weight loss pills (he mentioned Ozempic specifically). His advice was to eat less. My husband has been having consistent muscular chest pain for the last year and his only suggestion was to continue taking aspirin and wait for more symptoms to show up to come up with a diagnosis. We decided to see a different primary care physician a week later for a second opinion. In my case, my new primary doctor found two nodules on my thyroid that have been the cause of my weight gain. One of them was indeed cancerous. If Kavcic wasn’t so focused on rushing me out of my appointment he would’ve caught it. My new doctor also stated I was eating too little and actually needed to eat more! As for my husbands case, with his new doctor he was given a full blood work up and a medication that has significantly helped his pain and increased his quality of life. My advice for this practice and said doctor is to please take your patients concerns into consideration when trying to find a diagnosis. Not everyone is overreacting when it comes to their symptoms and not everyone is trying to score pills. As for the rest of the staff that we encountered, everyone is very nice and friendly. The office staff were always pleasant over the phone and we never had any issues with billing or getting ahold of them."

"You would think with all these bad reviews they wouldn't turn you away for being a little late? But apparently there's a receptionist with no teeth that must own the whole practice? This the second time I was turned away... Not a soul in the waiting room. Big sign that says accepting new patients. But you kick me out lol."

"The team and doctors at this facility have been more than helpful and great! I've had no problems and considering what the medical field has gone through over the past 4 years, I'm so glad they are still taking good care of us. Some times everyone just has a bad day, and if your not going to take the medical advice or your meds then you're just waisting their time to take care of patients who do. Don't always go by one side of the story in the bad reviews. I've been through some very bad care experiences and they have always been there to help us through to become healthy again."
