"I left his office with my blood boiling! THATS how rude he was to me! Complete Alpha male " I speak, you shut up"! That's how the appointment went. He was very annoyed that my hip was fine after an Xray and how dare I waste his time! WTH! He then asked which Doctor sent me to him, and then made a snide remark " Oh that makes sense" like he's an idiot for sending me! I tried to comment and actually agree with him and say " I'm glad it's not my hip, it must be coming from my spine, have you seen the MRI of my spine?" but he cut me off mid sentence and looked and me completely appalled and he very angrily responded " LIKE I SAID I DO HIPS ! YOUR PAIN IS NOT COMING FROM YOUR HIP!GO SEE A SPINE DOCTOR FOR THAT!!" ... I simply tried to respond again agreeing that since I have scoliosis and my leaning on that hip is why it possibly HURTS SO MUCH ALL DAY , which again annoyed him that I was still speaking and again as if I was stupid said "ITS NOT YOUR HIP!!!" At that point I had had enough and told him this was no way to speak to me! His eyes got big and he sat back shocked " how dare I basically speak to him how he had spoken to me! I worked for many years as a surgical assistant and many of these doctors truly do have a " God complex" and forget we patients are the reason they even have a job! Many simply are better at performing surgeries than their people skills and bedside manner, which he is clearly lacking! Where I use to work these doctors were often asked to hire a PA to do their patient care / visits because they're simply not capable! I would highly recommend this for this pompous man! Already when I came in his Nurse was not very friendly, which made sense after meeting him,because she's clearly been put in her place! Male chauvinists have no place in a hospital! Where patients expect compassion and understanding! No patient should leave an office feeling like I did! He wanted to know ZERO about my pain! I was a bother to him! He wasn't going to make any money off of me for a hip surgery! This is disgusting! I waited weeks to see him! Many patients have major anxiety before an appointment like this, many other health issues and are often on the brink of giving up BECAUSE of doctors like this, making them feel like a bother ! And shove you off to the next and the next and the next doctor! Till we say " NO MORE"!and give up! Which is sadly the point this man has made me reach today! A nurse or someone should be in the room with him at all times to witness his behavior and stand up to him! Report him! Send him to a patient care class! Teach him social skills !"

"I have been a RN for 20 plus years, have dealt with numerous doctors and I have never had a doctor be so demeaning in my life. He portrays himself as being superior to his patients. I had to have Achilles tendon surgeries on both ankles, one causing the other to become damaged. 3 out of 4 orthopedic specialist demeaning that the 2nd ankle was because of the other and this man would NOT deam it causative. He is arrogant, has terrible bedside manner and has NO compassion for his patients!!! If I could give this man a zero, I most certainly would!! I will never recommend him to anyone!!"
