"Update: I had my file transferred to SOS in Syracuse almost 2 months after my injury. YES, I went all the way to Syracuse for a real doctor. SOS told me that I would need to at least start with physical therapy, and to check bad in several weeks to see how it healed. He also preacribed anti-inflammatory drugs. I was given a packet of printed information about my injury and how to exercise and stretch it on the FIRST visit. Dr. Cummins and Kristen did NONE of these things and rushed me out. I've still never even met Dr. Cummings. Didn't even make a recommendation on care such as elevation and ice, just "It will heal". It has since healed, but not perfectly. I believe if I had not wasted time with Dr. Cummings office and went straight to a decent doctor, it may have healed perfectly. Displeased with the service received. Saw a nurse practitioner on my 1st visit for all of one minute. After receiving an MRI I went back in to find out I had a torn PCL. I went in to see Kristen Miller who told me my ligament was torn and need to be grafted. I was told I would receive a call after the nurse spoke with the surgeon and they would let me know if they could even handle the surgery. Kristen profess to me that she did not even know if doctor Cummings was capable of performing the surgery which is the exact 1 thing you do not want to hear from your surgeon. After waiting 9 days for a call back I was told by Kristen Miller that she did try and call me back, and I did not need surgery and that it would heal on its own so I'm looking elsewhere for a second opinion because I believe that is not a safe diagnosis and can lead to things like arthritis and a weakened knee that can lead to future damages. Never saw or spoke to the surgeon."
