"As someone who has had several bad experiences with doctors brushing off symptoms of a chronic health condition I have in the past, I can’t recommend this practice enough. Dr. Mckenzie and Dr. Burgun always make me feel listened to and cared for. My symptoms are taken seriously and both doctors are very good at what they do, personable, and quick to adjust a care plan if something isn’t working in order to find what’s best for you."

"Dr. McKenzie has always been good to talk with and does good work. I left because I had called for an issue and was told I needed to come in so I was forced to schedule an appointment although this was something they've helped me with over the phone before. The next day I had felt better so I went to cancel the appointment that they told me I needed to do or wouldn't receive help and they charged a $30 fee for a cancellation the same day. This would be understandable on a physical or appointment set up months in advance but not a sick visit that I reluctantly had to take because they would not allow me to get a prescription over the phone as they have done so in the past. I tried to do the right thing and cancel the appointment as what I was calling about seemed to get dramatically better since the day prior and I didn't want to waste their time. Now I'm stuck with a bill."

"Dr Mckenzie and his staff have always been professional and extremely caring. Dr Mckenzie is never rushed during your visit and will listen to you no matter how long the visits run. I was very sick several years ago and if it had not been for Dr Mckenzie referring me to the correct specialist and following thru with me to make sure I was satisfied with their care icould have been ina very serious condition. Will stick with him as long as he is practicing!"

"I've been a patient of Dr. Mackenzie for several years. He is a kind, thoughtful, and thorough physician, and I would recommend him to anyone. Please don't be dissuaded by the reviews regarding public statements by one his staff - they absolutely do NOT represent the care you will get at this practice."

"I have referred many people to this office because Dr.Mckensie seemed very likeable and professional, but as time went on I found that he only wanted to refer me to specialist after specialist and his wife Dr. Burgen seemed put out by concerns that I shared through their patient portal and sent meds to incorrect places to be filled which delayed them. They seem to want you to come to the office just to have your meds renewed despite ongoing care and stable health. There are medicare regulations for care and they refused to renew my meds during the COVID crisis even though I was out of state, they shut me out of the portal, refused to answer my calls, and told me to get a doctor out of state. This was difficult to do considering what was going on when nobody was set up for telemed at that time. I had been in the practice about 5 years. I was also never told that I should get a doctor there before leaving for vacation even though I asked. There are many things GP's can handle if they care to but he doesn't care to and I ended up getting care at a drug store with an NP. which is not the way things should have gone. I never got to see the physician out of state because he was not COVID ready at the time. I was never sent a letter that my care was terminated from the office and I have lived in this area most of my life and will be continuing to for the forseeable future moat of the year. I am highly disappointed in this unprofessional behavior on behalf of this office. As a Master's prepared nurse I am also aware that this is not acceptable behavior."
