"Apparently, this fraudulent business is sending people's accounts to collection without even informing them about any outstanding bills. I've never received any communication from this company. A bill came from a collection agency out of nowhere. It took me a lot of work to even find out, through the collection agency, where the bill originated. Upon calling Acupath, I was told it was sent to collection by mistake. I asked them to send me a confirmation statement that I could use as a proof for the collection agency and my credit report. Of course, nothing has been sent to me because they couldn't care less. I will be reporting them to Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Better Business Bureau, NYC DCWP, and NYC Department of Financial Services."

"The absolute worst experience I have ever had. I had a procedure done in Sept 2022. My insurance paid the entire amount due but that did not stop them from sending me invoices. The first invoice I received around February of 2023 was not itemized and only provided me with an amount due. So I called and let them know that this was incorrectly sent, they understood and said that they would take care of it. The second invoice in March still not itemized, I called and same result as the previous call. Third invoice in April still not itemized, mind you, I do not owe a dime and again similar result as the last two phone calls. Fourth invoice in May and again not itemized and similar to the last three calls they understood that there was something wrong on their end, that I did not owe anything, and that the invoices would stop. June, Fifth invoice, but what do you know its itemized this time and not only is it itemized its 1/5th of the original bill!! I can clearly see that the itemized amounts are listed on my insurance statement and can clearly see all items were paid for in Sept 2022. So here I go, calling again like a fool and again they "understood there was a mistake" and will call me back once cleared on their end. I never received a call, but what I did receive in the month of July was a bill from a collections agency with an amount significantly higher than the last itemized bill. I called this place for this issue so many times that now I was speaking to the same rep from the last few calls. This time I asked for a supervisor and after asking for a supervisor over 25 times on this call the representative decided that she will not transfer to her supervisor and insisted that she would take care of the situation herself (this was the same rep I spoke to in April). She promised by the end of the day that the debt would be clear from the collections agency, that it would be cleared on their end, and that she would send me an email by the end of the day confirming these facts. The end of the day came and no email, no phone call, nothing!! So I called again the next morning and specifically asked for the representative again. She gave me every excuse she could possibly come up with as to why I did not receive an email or a phone call. "Systems were down", "She did not have time", "She has too many other patients to deal with", I do not understand why she believed these were valid excuses since this issue is almost a year old. Ultimately, after begging for a supervisor again and an email confirming that these invoices are incorrect and that I owed nothing, the rep decided to write the email while I was on the call. The letter however does not definitively state that the balance due is zero. They would not revise the letter and the rep assured me that the next invoice would read $0. To be determined on that. Mind blowing how these adults have zero accountability, responsibility, or ethics. Awful customer support, awful service. I will not allow any doctors in my future to attain their services. They completely took advantage of this situation. They tried to squeeze money out of me that they were not entitled too. These people are scammers, beware!"

"Received a statement of 1875.00 today, July 24, 2023. Came from collections agency. Why was it sent to collections in the first place? I never had any work done with this lab. Never received a bill either. I've been on Medicare and Medicaid for years now. All my testing is covered. I think it's a scam."
