"One of the worst experiences of my life. 4th grade to 9th grade I experienced severe bullying from my peers. I was in constant emotional distress and was suicidal and depressed due to how awful everything was dealt with. My mother was ignored when trying to get me help from the principal, counselors, ect. I was left outside by a gym teacher, put in a room while having a panic attack no help was called I missed a whole school day, I'd force myself to puke to miss class (specifically gym), was left out of the chior picture in the year book, had my things thrown around classrooms by other students, and was emotionally abused by my "friends" The schools response to all of this was to put me in a special education classroom and say just be "nice and make up". I didn't need to be there my academics was not the issue and I never want to see half of that student body ever again. I am currently in a different building doing much better with much more support away from this place but I am only 17 years old and have so much trauma from this place, not to mention my older sister and mother went through similar things. The cherry on top is through all of this I was autistic I wasn't diagnosed until 9th grade but once I was it made me even angrier than I already was knowing that other kids like me might not be able to get help like I did. If you think you want to send your child here, don't. This school messes their kids up mentally it's scary."

"It's hard to say with everything going on and all the changes every single year. Especially this year, the pandemic and movements causes a lot to change. The teachers of brockport are amazing and really make the school great. There's lots of fun activities put together that really gets the community involved. The campus itself is pretty nice and it has receive lots and lots of work. The new tennis courts and football field is nice. The have amped up and renovated parking and I don't think they are even complete with what they wanna do. Now for what I don't like... The administration. I'm fine with rules and sometimes desisions need to be made, but there has been bad planning and sometimes aweful execution of new policys. This problem is admitted entirely up to who the community elects and what the school thinks is a good leader of the individual schools. All in all its a great school with many great programs and a nice tightknit community full of colorful and inspired people who make all the difference."

"I graduated here 11 years ago before reviewing was a thing. Spent most of my school career here, and hated about 85% of it. The science departments, gyms and gym teachers and history departments are about all this district has going for it. Very hostile environment, at least it was then. I and many kids like me had IEP/504 plans which the teachers did not handle well at all. They did not, at the time at least, have any respect nor patience for challenging students. Teachers who didn't like you would make sure you failed, others who did like you would make sure you wouldn't. I learned more from Mythbusters and the History Channel than I ever did in this place. Good luck parents, you'll need it out here."
