"If I could give Dr. Kaufteil a zero, I would. Stay away from this practice, especially if you have insurance. His office will tell you that he is a participating provider to get you in. He will start a dental procedure and when he is paid by the insurance for half of the work, he will tell you that the insurance does not cover what he charges. He will then demand large amounts of money from you. If you do not pay, he will not complete the work. His office manager Jay will tell you to pay upfront and tell you you will be reimbursed. After he is paid, they will find reasons to keep your payment. Do not get an implant from him. He does not have the latest dental technology. He will send you to another dentist that does not accept insurance for x-rays that and you will be charged hundreds of dollars. He will then refer you to a specialist in his office that does not accept insurance to to perform the implant. This specialist will charge you thousands of dollars. He will play travel videos to avert your attention from his unsanitary office which is in need of an upgrade. Don’t wait until it is too late. Save yourself some time money and aggravation and find another dentist. You will be happy that you did."
