"The doctor did nothing for me but poke a tooth and blow air into my mouth before telling me that he can’t do anything for me before I get my teeth pulled and then walked out. Didn’t even get the service I was told over the phone for a cleaning. If you care to read on here’s my whole story, I called to book an urgent appt, because I had insurance the receptionist Lisa told me I can’t be seen until the following month. I asked if I didn’t have insurance when can I be seen and she said I can come in tomorrow for a cleaning. I requested that appointment, she gave it to me and said she will call Me back with the cost. I said to her “ok and let me know if I can use my insurance tomorrow I’ll make sure to get you a copy of all the information” she said ok, however never called me back later that day. The next morning I called and said I’m going to use my insurance I had them send you all the proper paperwork and she told me “oh no now your playing games with me”…I don’t understand how I’m the one playing games when I got you all my insurance information before you had the decency to call me back with the information I requested but ok…”well now we need to move your appointment because I put you down for a cleaning today and now you are using your insurance” I got annoyed and told her that’s not acceptable, just because I have insurance and did my part now your telling me I can’t be seen? She put me on hold, came back 2 min later and said fine come in. Got to the appt, gave her everything, went to see the dr, come back out and she gave me my bill. After looking at it and comparing the costs in my insurance statement, she we charging me double. I wasn’t supposed to pay for any services that day however Lisa was looking to charge me as self pay. Watch out people, they are billing your insurance and charging you at the same time. Double dipping. What an unprofessional office. I called back with a question a few hrs later and again Lisa said she would call me back and proceeded to never call me back."

"This place is absolutely awful. Only came here because they took my insurance. I had two root canals done and was rushed out in 30 minutes. Dr. Barastani was extremely rude as well. I went back to my general dentist for follow up work on root canals and by two different dentist was told the job on the root canals was so bad and done poorly that I now need two dental implants and the teeth cannot be saved. Costing me now thousands of dollars all because they did an awful job. Definitely don’t recommend this office. They were quick to give me the money back that I had to pay out of pocket for to make sure no legal action was taken."

"Updated review: My initial experience was awful. I had come in to get a chip fixed, Dr. Shashoua didn't fix it but caused extra problems and ultimately I needed a root canal. Dr. Sakhaee spoke with me when I was very frustrated, calmed me down, and credited my first payment to the new procedure. Every experience after my first visit was excellent. The wait times can be long, and there is no WiFi or magazines in the waiting room. The actual dentistry is excellent. ***** Original review: Bizarre bait and switch experience. There is a 4th dentist at this practice who is not on the website and has no reviews, but the receptionist told me she's been working there 8 years, Anita Shashoua. She has poor bedside manner, did not explain things well (or at all), and asked me on the spot to make a decision between a crown and a filling without any further information, then told me I might need two more crowns also (on teeth I didn't believe needed work). My previous dentist sent me here because they don't accept my new insurance and I needed a filling fixed- I never heard anything about crowns and I trust my previous dentist. When injecting anaesthetic, she said, "Yeah this isn't gonna feel good" when doing the actual work she said things like "I shouldn't forget the gauze, that's not good" and when she was finished she told me "it went pretty deep, I put some numbing stuff inside it but I guess we'll see if it works". I have lingering pain so guess it turns out I'll be getting a crown after all??? Really terrible experience. The rest of the staff was lovely."

"Wrongfully I wasn’t holding out much hope for this dental office, as they accepted AARP’s least expensive plan. Boy was I wrong!!! From my 3 phone calls to Donna the receptionist with a million questions , in 1 day, she was kind, sweet, extremely knowledgeable and patient! When I got in to the office for my first visit, of course, friendly Donna was there to answer all my questions again. Jody was the dental hygienist that day, she was equally as pleasant, knowledgeable, and friendly and, of course, patient I was amazed. My next visit with the dentist two weeks later proved to be equally as, terrific he was proficient friendly and explain what he would be doing. There was another hygienist there, I believe her name was Sarah, again equally as terrific. Today, I saw a different dentist, because her specialty was different than the first dentist. everything was terrific again, friendly, pleasant , and explained everything she was doing. I still have to go back for a few more trips for some more work, but this proved to be a great experience. !!!"
