Aspen Dental - Commack, NY

"Went for a root canal on Thursday. Monday morning I was still in pain! Called the commack office and expressed my concern of the pain. Was told the only thing I could do is finish the root canal or pull the tooth!!! When I asked if they can just address the pain for now (was worried for an infection) they said no!!!!! Went to another dentist ( a much much much cheaper one) and was told the dentist from aspen had left one nerve in the tooth, he only removed one!!!!! How can a dentist do half the job?!?! All that pain could have been avoided!!!! I will never return to aspen dental and I will tell anyone that will listen how horrible this place is!!!! THE ABSOLUTE WORST!!!!!"

"I was very disappointed in the way they had fixed my mother’s lower dentures that had a clean break, all that was needed was for the broken dentures bonded back together. The work is very sloppy, you can see inside the denture where the bonding agent is and the technician did not smooth out the area (you rub your finger there and it is rough (my mother is 101 to have that in her mouth) The staff was no help in rectify this they kept saying I need to bring my mother for a fitting why? all that was needed for the denture to be glued back together and to make matters worst it cost me $187 after so call coupon, what a disgrace. I am truly upset. The staff was pleasant enough, but I was not satisfied with the results. How can I recommend someone?"

"This was my first visit and it was very pleasant. The staff was friendly and helpful. The doctor was thorough, he identified the source of my problem quickly. The facility is clean and inviting. I would return to this facility."

"I give 2 stars because when I scheduled my appointment I specifically called for a cleaning (btw I am a new patient). I spoke twice more with the office directly and also confirmed with them that I am scheduled for a cleaning. When I came to my appointment, it lasted for an hour and twenty minutes only to find out that I am not scheduled for a cleaning but for a check-up/exam, and a cleaning would be a second visit. I literally wasted my time there only for x-rays. Any other dental office would have given me a cleaning. If I would have know that my cleaning is a two-part process since I am a new patient then maybe I would have canceled my appointment and looked for another provider. The response I was given from the dentist and staff is, the call center always gets it wrong. If that’s they case, then the direct staff also misled me. However, the staff was very friendly and the office appeared clean but honestly if I would have known that I wasn’t scheduled for what I made my appointment for then I would have not wasted my time here."
