"First time visiting this barbershop, and I loved my experience all around. Michael handled my haircut and beard trim for a heavy growth of hair I was a bit protective of. He advised me on different styles of cuts and how we could create a cut from a few different photos I had brought, and patiently explained the types of cuts each was. Watching him work was a pleasure, he was meticulous and detail oriented with every hair. I even had the chance to witness Michael uplift another younger barber when there was a miscommunication with a customer, it’s clear these guys have a passion for their art. I would recommend architect for men to anyone looking for a professional level haircut at a fair price."

"I get it, maybe the name of the shop has you second-guessing. I’d very much implore you to swing by the place. I’m not a man and I highly recommend Architect for Men. Johnny’s been my barber for years. He’s done my bald fade, is down to do some shaved designs in said fade, provides a fantastic hot towel with all the balms and salves fully bald shave, is currently babysitting my Chelsea-meets-mullet, and —I cannot stress this enough— can cut to my curl pattern and deal with the fact that my hair [to quote him] grows in seventeen different directions. The shop is both clean and cozy, the employees are great, and everyone seems pretty dang comfortable whether they’re waiting or in the chair. Give them a shout, tell Johnny that Emmy sent you, and then disregard anything he says about me unless he’s talking about how good my hair looks."
