"Did not get the cut I imagined, then when I had to pay the guy said I owed him 30$ but I only had 40$ so I asked him for change and when he didnt have 10$ to give me, he decided to on the spot raise the price to 35$ and give me back only 5$ in change...I suggest going to ANOTHER spot. Wasted effort and money here."
"Don't expect their hours that are later than most to find them open. At 7pm Monday evening posted to close at 8:30 no one was here with lights off but open sign on."
"Chill, not intimidating atmosphere. The barbers have loyal fans that have been sitting in their chairs for years. There's usually something entertaining playing on the TV or a radio with R&B or soul music playing. Check it out if you're in need of a barber, they will make sure you're right!"
"This barbershop is one of the BEST in Syracuse. It's actually the LONGEST standing BLACK business in Syracuse having been in business for over 60 years!! Wait time is a little long but it's because of the client base and the quality haircuts they give out on a daily basis. Wait time also depends on the day of the week. If you go on a Mon, Tues or Wed you're likely to have a shorter wait time but if you go on a Thurs, Fri or Sat you will definitely have a long wait time as this is their busier days of the week. They do, however take appointments for an extra fee on their busier days which I strongly recommend. I LOVE this barbershop for its authentic and old school feel. The environment inside the barbershop itself is just so comedic and family like. The area in which the shop is located is a bit rough but it's getting better. If you're looking for quality over quantity then this is definitely the place to go you will not be disappointed!!"
