"I brought some jerk chicken and jerk pork for a friend of my's who is white and loves spicy food, but there are no Caribbean restaurants in the area where she lives in Maryland. She and her kids LOVED it. I know in my heart they wanted much, much more , so I told her they got to make a trip to Brooklynand I will take they to Bamboo Restaurant on Flatbush Ave. Definitely worth the visit."
"I got the jerk pork fried rice, which is a really just jerk pork OVER rice. I wish they made the meat fried rices mixed on they'd be so popular if they did. I just ripped it into little pieces and mix with the rice."
"Just ok. Good portion for a plate of food that’ll put you to sleep. My friend loves their chicken lo mein. His go to order. I got mine pepper shrimp chow mein for the first time and the shrimp was disappointing, it didnt pepper, it was mushy, and there was only 6-7 shrimps in a plate full of chow mein. The chow mein itself wasnt bad, but flavor could be more. Jerk chicken was good tho, the flavor was nice and the fried rice was aight. Bbq chicken lo mein is standard."
"Food here is quite good. I don't know of any other place in Brooklyn that does Caribbean Chinese food. Not much of an eat-in situation, we mostly do take out. Only issue is that sometimes it takes them quite long to serve your order even if you've ordered over the phone and had agreed on a pick-up time."
