"DO NOT GO HERE. Went to Gerber after being referred over by my insurance. They replaced my radiator. Car started to overheat and was told it was an issue with the fan. They “fixed” the issue on 11/1 and car overheated again less than 2 weeks later. They then told me they have to replace the fan on the BRAND NEW RADIATOR. They replaced it and surprise our head gasket blew. Spoke to the person who my husband was dealing with and she tried to pretend she didn’t have any knowledge of work being done on 11/1. But the admitted on the recording that she did. They feel they are not responsible for it even through head gaskets blowing is often a direct result of a radiator overheating. Now I have to sue them for the work they were already paid to do. Save your time, money and frustration."
"Took my daughter's car here after she hit a deer. The repairs to the body where fine. They fixed it. What they won't take responsibility for is the radio they broke. It was working before we took in. Got it back now it doesn't work. They won't do anything about it. If i could give negative stars i would. AVOID AT ALL COST. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Update: 12/19 I have increased the rating from 1 to 3. After leaving this review and a negative survey I received after my repairs. I was contacted by the store and they agreed to look at the radio again. This time they were able to get the radio working as it was before. I still cannot go higher than this as what it took me to having to leave multi negative reviews to get them to fix the issue."
"I must say that Gerber Collision and Glass redeemed themselves when they called me to make amends regarding my car's repairs. They offered to either have Geico pay for the window motor or pay for it from their pocket. I was not expecting that at all after my last review. I took my car to their shop and they installed the window motor and my car is as good as new. Gerber manager Paul worked with me and my car repairs were pretty smooth. Thank Paul and thank you, Gerber."
"I got intro an accident about 2 months ago. I called the other persons insurance, luckily they took fault, and told me to take it here and i could get a repair time quote. It was Geico BTW. And because i was dropping it off on a Saturday they assured me i would get a quote when i dropped it off. I got there, turns out the guy supposed to do the quote doesn't work on the weekends! Then the repair shop told me that it would take 3 days from monday. That's a lie considering that the auto industry has issues with supply still. So i get a call Monday, saying that it would be repaired by the following Saturday. Great! Then I'm told on Thursday, just waiting for the paint to dry, and should be ready by Saturday, just wait for a confirmation call. Then they ghost me! I finally reach someone Tuesday, who tells me they haven't painted it yet. I get another call Thursday, saying it's ready for Saturday. Then a call Friday, saying it's cleaned and ready. And another call Saturday morning. I get there and one of the strips running along the roof is just gone. When i ask why i wasnt told they further DAMAGED my car, i get blank stares. I took the car, with a promise to repair, since i didn't trust leaving my car there until the part came in, which they assured me would be Monday. They again ghost and ignore me until someone calls me back on the following FRIDAY, a full 6 days later, to bring it in. But because of their time wasting i wasn't able to until Monday, yesterday. Finally got it repaired, and i left. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR THERE IF YOU CAN HELP IT!"
"Do not take your car to Gerber. I waited awhile to make this review because I wanted to turn my lease in first to make sure I didn't have MORE problems. I had someone back into the front of my car during the winter, and I had it towed to Gerber (it was Carruba at the time). Everything seemed to be going smoothly and I went to pick up my car. I didn't give it a super thorough look over when I picked it up, but I did notice they left the antenna unplugged and stored on the dash, but I shrugged it off and just screwed it back on. So spring time comes around and I notice the A/C isn't working, so I plan to go there and see if it was due to the accident. But before I get around to going there, I was rear ended pretty badly, so I figure I'll have it brought to them again. While doing my walk around with their advisor Melanie, I inform her that I also had an issue with my A/C, and ask if they can look at that while they're fixing the rear. She says sure thing and writes it down as a post-repair concern. Couple weeks pass, I go to pick up the car, and ask if the AC was fixed. Ashley at the front desk appeared confused and tried to look up the file, and ends up blaming Melanie for not inputting the info correctly, and tells me I have to come back yet again on Monday. I show back up on Monday, wait 1 1/2 hours for them to check it out, and they come out saying that there shouldn't be any problems because the accident was in the rear. So the girl didn't inform them that it was a prior accident! They tell me to go to dealer instead. Ok fine. Well I got home and I wanted to check under the hood to see for myself. Then I noticed that there was a huge smudge of dirt under the clear coat on my hood. So I AGAIN take it back to have looked at. Again I'm sitting there for hours, and they just hand me the keys saying it's all set. I go look at it and it still looks absolutely terrible, and I start to notice these dust nibs ALL OVER the car. Almost every panel they painted had them. But it was too late in the day because they took forever, that the production manager was gone, so I had to bring it back AGAIN the next day. So now I'm dealing with Colton, who is one of the managers. I tell him how inconvenient everything has been between the paint and the A/C. He is the first person there to actually apologize about the issues. So I get a rental car, and later that day, Colton calls and tells me he'll bring my car to the dealer for me to get the AC fixed since they won't get to it right away. That is good service right there. Some time passes without hearing anything, but West herr was having some trouble getting parts, so it was sitting at the dealer for a little while. Finally everything's done, and I go to pick it up on a Sunday. I noticed that none of the dust nibs were gone on the car, only the hood was done. I bring this up to Ashley at the front desk, and she just shrugs it off saying "I don't know what to tell you man, I'm not up to date on this". And both her and another guy working there were both making comments about how they were paying for a rental car while West herr was taking their time. How unprofessional can you be to talk like that in front of a customer? The next day, their actual production manager Todd calls me, and tells me to wait 30 days for the new clear coat to cure, and he ALSO makes a comment about the rental car as if it's my fault they offered to pay for it. Now while I have the car I noticed even more issues with the car. They never buffed or fixed on of the backup sensors, they just popped the damaged one back in, and the inner lip of the trunk was starting to peel up at the weld. So after a month goes by I bring it in, and Todd gives me this huge hassle about how the peeling paint has nothing to do with them, even though my accident involved my trunk as well. Honestly Todd was the MOST unprofessional guy there, he even went so far as to say something like "Why does it matter what it looks like, it's a lease". They obviously have absolutely no workmanship or care about the end product. Don't go here at all!"
